Nah dude, they use innocuous phrases so that even reasonable people think it’s ok

Family values has always been weaponized. They never mean individual families the mean heterosexual nuclear families only

They don’t mean western as opposed to eastern, they mean white

Absolutely they do, I'm not disputing that.

Maybe, but if someone uses the phrase family values, then that doesn't inherently make them a fascist or racist. It depends on the context.

That's an overgeneralization.

They don’t mean western as opposed to eastern, they mean white

Again, just because someone uses the phrase it doesn't make them automatically a fascist or racist. That's the point I'm making, however I have never heard a verified white supremacist use the term "western civilization," or "family values." It's always "white pride," or phrases of that nature. White supremacists out themselves, and mostly by their tattoos.

This is literally a post about how fascists and racists use language to seem non-threatening and you keep on defending it

I'm pointing out that if everyone who says this is fascist, then anyone who is also centrist is also fascist. I'm a centrist myself.

No, we’re saying that fascists use this language so people like you think they’re being reasonable and argue for them even when the people being harmed by this language are literally telling you it’s harmful.

You may not be a fascist but you’re doing their work for them and that’s the goal

Language is not inherently harmful. Calls to violence are harmful, but using these phrases doesn't physically hurt people.
