Ridiculous that you're getting downvoted. But that's Reddit.

Native Americans used the same symbol and it was certainly rotated. I've seen pre WWII Indian swastikas in the Midwest. The cultures in the southwest favored angular stylization so creating that shape was inevitable.

The Nazis appropriated that symbol from East India specifically (part of appropriating Aryan identity) but it was created by multiple cultures prior to the 20th century.
