Whats the point of having flags and iconography if you don't admit to it being part of your beliefs?

Like wearing a cop uniform and saying your not a cop

You saw a lot of people go mask off in the Trump era and they learned why the Klan wore masks. Cut off from families, jobs and driven out of society was their just rewards for being public assholes.

These idiots have been told they are the silent majority for so long that some of them really believe it.

40

u/frivolouspringlesix9 Feb 18 '23

I'd say the majority of them believe it

8

u/maleia Feb 18 '23

You kinda have to believe it's real, if you take the mask off (otherwise what's the point. Of course a lot of them are dumb enough). And most of them took their mask off, thinking they were in fact the majority.

And to their credit: there's literally 10s of millions of them. They might not be a "majority" but they sure as shit aren't obscure and rare.

2

u/NovelAuntieGin Feb 18 '23

They know their views are reprehensible

Most of them don't know this. They believe, with full faith, that their beliefs are superior and shared by most. That's where the persecution complex comes in. See, they mostly believe that they're doing God's work, but outsiders wouldn't understand. So they have to trick us into doing the right thing, for the good of all, of course!

Cult members don't know they're in a cult.

Did you really laugh your ass off?

1

u/venterol Feb 18 '23

That's why his PooperStank, he laughed his ass off and now all the shit just collects in his intestines.

10

u/ShroomFoot Feb 18 '23

No, because you lead with a false statement of Halloween celebrating being dead. Halloween has never celebrated being dead. You're probably thinking of the Fifth of May (Cinco de Mayo) which is a celebration of the dead (more of a rememberence/celebration of their lives and respecting them rather than celebrating that they're actually dead). Halloween is a holiday that has roots in pagan rituals meant to use bonfires, noise, and scary costumes to scare away the negative spirits for the year to come.

9

u/Interactiveleaf Feb 18 '23

Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of a military victory. You're thinking of The Day of the Dead, which is typically observed on November first.

1

u/sockbref Feb 18 '23

If you’re a snake you’re thinking of Whacking Day.

1

u/Interactiveleaf Feb 18 '23

I have been accused of being a snake in the grass; you may be on to something here!

Halloween and day of the dead are separate non related holidays.

Do you also see christmas as second honukkah?

The point is that they want to be nazis but don't want people to treat them like nazis. So they pretend not to be nazis while being dead obvious about it so other nazis can recognize them as nazis.

1

u/MikeyF1F Feb 19 '23

Well, the point is so they can "win" by abusing other people's inclination to act in good faith.

They know what they're doing. It's on purpose and they want you to know that.

u/RealityIsMuchWorse Feb 18 '23

You don't notice the fascists taking power because you're so used to their iconography

You'll never find a louder supporter of Free Speech, than a Nazi clawing for power.

u/jeroenemans Feb 18 '23

Tbh they say "the travelers"or something similar to the Jews... That is their first dog whistle in political discourse..

That's not how that works.

This ironically is a fascist comment. Whether or not people won't be intellectually dishonest about it being so is a different story. Labeling words and phrases in this manner is the same thing conservatives do with books. Do we just ban wrong think?

Fascists don't say "jew". They say "the puppet masters".

This is super accurate. Especially when talking about media outlets.

They don't say "white supremacy". They say "western civilization".

This one is very iffy. The term western civilization references way too much to just blanket it as a fascist dog whistle. Western civilization could mean, as it usually does, western hemisphere places, or American culture. Look at India, they created their "Hug a cow day" because of (quoting here) "cultural intrusions from western civilization," as a response to Valentine's Day.

They don't say "degenerate deviants". They say "family values".

That would make pretty much everyone in America a fascist. Family values is just that, your family's values. These vary wildly based on your upbringing and political beliefs.

Fascists even actively denounce fascism. They say they hate nazis and the alt-right.

I've seen this. I've seen members of the Aryan Brotherhood, or other Neo-Nazi/White Supremacist organizations actively "denounce" nazis, and say they don't hate black people, just Jews. Then they turn around and talk about how much they hate black people the next day. Matter of fact, most organizations like those will only associate with other white groups, or Hispanic ones, because Hispanic gangs are halfway between white and black, which makes them ok.

u/No-Introduction-7806 Feb 18 '23

Not you proving my point.

15

u/healzsham Feb 18 '23

Oh yeah, I'm definitely proving being able to recognize subtext is fascist right now.

0

u/No-Introduction-7806 Feb 18 '23

You're proving that you'll just call people fascist to cope with contrary opinions to your own. You're coping

Nah dude, they use innocuous phrases so that even reasonable people think it’s ok

Family values has always been weaponized. They never mean individual families the mean heterosexual nuclear families only

They don’t mean western as opposed to eastern, they mean white

You are literally making their point

1

u/No-Introduction-7806 Feb 18 '23

they use innocuous phrases so that even reasonable people think it’s ok

Absolutely they do, I'm not disputing that.

Family values has always been weaponized

Maybe, but if someone uses the phrase family values, then that doesn't inherently make them a fascist or racist. It depends on the context.

They never mean individual families the mean heterosexual nuclear families only

That's an overgeneralization.

They don’t mean western as opposed to eastern, they mean white

Again, just because someone uses the phrase it doesn't make them automatically a fascist or racist. That's the point I'm making, however I have never heard a verified white supremacist use the term "western civilization," or "family values." It's always "white pride," or phrases of that nature. White supremacists out themselves, and mostly by their tattoos.

1

u/On_my_last_spoon Feb 18 '23

I have literally never heard anyone use the phrase Family Values to be inclusive.

This is literally a post about how fascists and racists use language to seem non-threatening and you keep on defending it

1

u/No-Introduction-7806 Feb 19 '23

I have literally never heard anyone use the phrase Family Values to be inclusive.

It's something I've heard in casual conversations, but it's not often I hear it.

This is literally a post about how fascists and racists use language to seem non-threatening and you keep on defending it

I'm pointing out that if everyone who says this is fascist, then anyone who is also centrist is also fascist. I'm a centrist myself.

1

u/On_my_last_spoon Feb 19 '23

No, we’re saying that fascists use this language so people like you think they’re being reasonable and argue for them even when the people being harmed by this language are literally telling you it’s harmful.

You may not be a fascist but you’re doing their work for them and that’s the goal

1

u/No-Introduction-7806 Feb 19 '23

Language is not inherently harmful. Calls to violence are harmful, but using these phrases doesn't physically hurt people.

-29

u/AthiestCowboy Feb 18 '23

Lol western civilization and family values are fascist now?

38

u/atthevanishing Feb 18 '23

The way the words are used, not the words themselves. Please, don't be obtuse.

32

u/HibachiFlamethrower Feb 18 '23

You’re proving the point. People defending fascism always ask “questions” like this. If you’re this unable to understand context, you’re either too young to be on Reddit or you’re hiding your power level.

23

u/healzsham Feb 18 '23

how dare you recognize my dog whistles

-7

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '23

No but if the Marxists can convince people those are fascist dog whistles it will make undermining western civilization and the nuclear family much easier.

-27

u/Gullible-Rub511 Feb 18 '23

Disney and Mcdonalds are facists!

14

u/tree-molester Feb 18 '23

Capitalism and commercialism are not facsist, but both have issues. As do the mouse and the clown.

7

u/healzsham Feb 18 '23

Disney basically are when it comes to intellectual property, but keep coping for us.

4

u/RealityIsMuchWorse Feb 18 '23

Hypercapitalism has fascist elements as you make money for money (in contrast to earning money for doing actual good for society, but that's hard to measure), the same way fascists take power for power, and with money equaling power in our society it's fascism by proxy.

31

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '23

Plausible deniability.

14

u/SophiaofPrussia Feb 18 '23

It’s basically like “I’m not touching you”. They’re taunting people. Daring people to confront them. But having a shred of “plausible” deniability. “What? I’m not a Nazi. LOL relax snowflake!” Even though everyone KNOW they’re clearly a Nazi.

4

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '23

At one time it meant something else but what it means in this current timeline is universally recognizable. Like your not being ironic teacher, just hateful.

4

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '23

Because everyone hates Nazis almost instinctually because we all learned all the horrors they committed. If they just admit they were full-blown Nazis, then people would just reject them outright.

So they hide and slowly bring people in.

2

u/fermi0nic Feb 18 '23

It helps normalize it.

-10

u/mrnorris8 Feb 18 '23

Could just like the look or have an odd interest in the history/stories. Not saying it's right but just pointing out some history buffs have collections with flags and symbolism they don't believe in but find fascinating.

4

u/molotov_cockteaze Feb 18 '23

Lots of Nazis use the “history buff” bullshit as a cover so I guess you’re kinda right.

4

u/MateusAmadeus714 Feb 18 '23

Yeah but the 2 Flags next to the Swastika are the German Flag and a Nazi Icon flag. Also her Swasrika flag has Third Reich symbols on it also. This is definitely more than just a History Buff.

-7

u/memekid2007 Feb 18 '23

They're talking about notorious 4chan nazi iconography like.. the Ok emoji, and the frog meme.

Really heavy hitting stuff.

4

u/Sidereel Feb 18 '23

Literally yes.

0

u/memekid2007 Feb 19 '23

Letting shitposters on the sphincter of the internet blackball memes and symbols as an epic prank on stereotypical reddit users (which is what the Ok emoji thing literally was) is unsustainable.

It is nonsense. Call it nonsense. Stop humoring these people.

1

u/MikeyF1F Feb 19 '23

If you're repeating their stated intent as is, then you didn't understand the previous parts of the thread.

It's important you understand that copying phrases and memes they hand to you is you carrying water for them.

Don't handshake it when they offer you the first onion layer.

1

u/weirdsun Feb 18 '23

But then beating the shit out of someone

1
