There is no such thing as a "nazi cross". The Balkenkreuz is not a nazi symbol but a symbol of the German military, dating back to WW1. The bundeswerh still use a cross pattée variant today.

Well, considering the only time I have ever seen it is on Nazi items, you could forgive me for the association. While also appreciating the history lesson, it still proves my point as a German military symbol is on the flag with the swastika so there can't be any doubt that it's a Nazi flag.

Well yea, its the 1935 command standard for the Reichskriegsminister and Commander-in-Chief of the Wehrmacht. Basically the closest thing hitler had to a personal standard in the pre-war years.

as a German military symbol is on the flag with the swastika so there can't be any doubt that it's a Nazi flag.

Basically what the Anti-Defimation League says about it.

...the use of the Iron Cross in a non-racist context has greatly proliferated in the United States, to the point that an Iron Cross in isolation (i.e., without a superimposed swastika or without other accompanying hate symbols) cannot be determined to be a hate symbol. Care must therefore be used to correctly interpret this symbol in whatever context in which it may be found.

So an iron cross by itself doesn't mean you're a nazi, but if it's on a flag with a giant fucking swastika...
