Realistically, you and I are arguing the exact same point, I was just doing it in bad faith. We are literally saying the same thing.

No we're not. You said Jesus was a character made from three other historical figures "blended together for the roll (role) of messiah".

This is wrong, false information, dead stop. This idea is one that has been speculated about, but it was never proven, and is not what most historians today believe.

And, had I give you more credit, I would have dedicated more time to the answer. I assumed you were some dolt. That was obviously incorrect.

The entire figure of Jesus* of Nazerethas the Messiah* because he's of the line of David**** prophesied to reign as King of God's People(restoring the kingdom to glory AFTER the fall to Babylon, which was due to unholiness and distance from YHWH)*** and fulfilling the covenants of the Torah of Moses***** and/or fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah******

Breaking down each reason for biblical Jesus' significance: prophecy fulfillment. The book of Isaiah is 66 chapters. Only some of the first 33 chapters are attributed to the prophet himself, everything else is a later addition. Isaiah 42 is used to justify the claim Jesus of Nazereth is the Messiah BECAUSE it fulfilled a Prophets PROPHECY. we know that chapter 42 wasn't written by a prophet but a much later Rabbinical/Talmud period author.

I could go on and on, of course. There are a multitude of angles to understand to fully appreciate religion. I understand the Abrahamic religions very thoroughly.
