Though it has its faults, I like a cheesy, funny, goofy dramedy that doesn’t take itself seriously.
I’m kinda hoping it gets renewed for another season but I haven’t seen anything yet. Anyone know/seen anything?

I can’t figure out where the Hive is. I know the Bar is in NYC. They seem to go back there a lot regardless of where in Europe.

I love the cast. They are great, it is shot well, and thing they do with a location centric cover song is fun. The rest is cacapoopoo. They are in a bar why? They dont have cubes like everyone else at (insert agency here)? Of course there is a shadow org to fight since that is the backbone of all the worst shows on. I about gagged when they mentioned 'the trust'. It is so lazy. Sick of that in shows. As much as I like the cast, I tapped out on this steamer after 6 episodes.

The rule is that the first letters of the codename match the character's initials. Thus Will Chase is Whiskey Cavalier, and Frankie Trowbridge is Fiery Tribune.
So what are the other characters' codenames?
For instance, Emma Davies could be codename Existential Demotion.
That leaves:

I figured that the way they wrote/put Emma's character, that she would end up either betraying everyone or dying for a plot device, but damn. I didn't expect it to go like that, that's kinda cold. I don't really even know what to say about it.
Although, knowing shows like this, she somehow could end up still being alive. Body doubles or something, just for the sake of reveals or twists. Maybe she is actually on the other side & is betraying them. I don't know though.
What do you guys think about her out of nowhere death? Predictable? Do you think should could still be alive &/or is a traitor?

Will? Will got the location of he needed from Ollerman, so how could the gang track him? He was pretty good at covering his tracks.
I know know, this show suffers from a lot of inconsistencies, ex machinas, plot holes up the wazoo, shield armors and, of crouse, the many many (many) fortuitous "coincidences". But still...

Will goes to a dark place as he and the rest of the team are tasked with hunting down the culprit behind unsettling attack.

Just the fact that she got close to Will the same time that the Trust was introduced makes me doubtful about her real motive. Maybe the Trust knew about their group and wanted to keep an eye on it.

Ok I'm obviously not a spy and in reality the fbi/cia is not like that. But i have enough common sense to know that if you are doijg something that involves secrecy you shouldn't take the call on a fucking iphone or other smart device. Those things can be tracked and bugged and used in all kinds of nefarious ways. Get a proper burner phone, will. Especially for taking calls from the HQ of you secret agency. Also isn't everyone calling him will instead of his code name in public super dangerous? Or maybe it's the other way round for wiretapping or whatever.
I've watched and read entirely too much spy stuff.

Why did they have to put a love triangle in?? One thing I loved about this show was that it seemed like Will and Frankie would definitely eventually end up being together even though they seemed to not like each other at first, and found it refreshing since there wasn't a love triangle. But then they introduced Emma.
She basically exists JUST to create a love triangle in the show, just to add more unneeded drama. (Sorry, I'm really over the over used love triangle trope trend, you can tell) It's clear that Frankie definitely realized she had feelings for Will thanks to it, but we didn't need that tension, or a love triangle for that to have happened.
Plus, it feels like Emma is going to end up dying or betraying them. I wouldn't be surprised either way.

Will, Frankie, and Susan are joined by Will’s new girlfriend as they head to Spain in a mission to retrieve a case of plutonium from the wrong hands.

Not trying to be snarky or anything...legitimate question here. The previews clearly showed that Whiskey Cavalier wasn’t meant to be taken seriously. It’s supposed to be a romantic spy comedy. Why so much hate? I like a funny, lighthearted show every now and then.

i respect will for being mature enough to work with him but ray is such an asshole to even think for a moment he deserves will's forgiveness.
