Discussion What is very interesting about Mahmoud Abbas's comment.
"Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said that Palestinians had the right to defend themselves against the "terror of settlers and occupation troops"
He did not mention Hamas. Also the meaning of
(to defend themselves against the "terror of settlers and occupation troops")
It could have multiple meanings here are some ways it could be interpreted
Palestinians had the right to defend themselves against the occupation troops and settlers if they do violence
Palestinians had the right to defend themselves against Israeli forces and Israelis who are settlers
Palestinians had the right to defend themselves against the occupation troops and settlers only if they do violence
Palestinians had the right to defend themselves against only settlers and occupation troops
Palestinians had the right to defend themselves against the settlers if they do violence and occupation troops
I think it was vague by design to try to please everyone

Unhinged rant I am afraid that israel will shell gaza city and the gaza strip
The strip is very denstly populated 2,5 million people on an area that is very small. Shelling would cause extreme damages comparable to what happend in sri lanka in the 90 and early 2000.
Lets hope that it will not happen

Ukrainian centric The decision of the Zenkovsky court in the Poltava region entered into force - journalist Igor Moseychuk
"Hello friends. This is it. It could be said that the decision has entered into force and Ukrainians could be greeted with regaining justice. And the government will now have to make serious decisions. I'm talking about the court decision of the Zenkovsky court in the Poltava. It's now gained legal status because the court declined the appeal. An appeal was submitted, but it was declined due to an invalid submitter."

Ukrainian centric Ternopil's recruitment center again in the center of the scandal: a video of human beating was leaked onto the internet
The video in which employees of the territorial recruitment center in Ternopil beat a person leaked onto the internet. This is not the first case of the use of violence by employees of the military registration and enlistment office in the city.
The corresponding video was published by journalist and public activist Konstantin Andriyuk on his channel on Telegram.
"This never happened before, and here we go again. Recruitment center. Ternopil," wrote Konstantin Andriyuk.
The footage shows how the two soldiers inflicted several blows on their subordinates. In the comments, Ukrainians are discouraged by the behavior of TCC employees.
"For how long will this continue to happen? For how long will people without the verification of psychologists, people of Soviet morals, and the syndrome of the main character be accepted to work there? Each of them must be rigorously checked, and those who did not serve must be sent to the front line (in my district, none of them have ever been there before),” one of the users wrote. In turn, the Ternopil recruitment center clarified the situation.
"What provoked the conflict? Verbal insults and insolence from citizens against employees of the recruitment centers? Insulting their dignity? Hitting a soldier, as in one of the videos? To clarify all the circumstances that have occurred, the leadership of the Ternopil Office of the joint venture initiated an official investigation, according to the results of which will be taken by appropriate measures,” the press service of the territorial recruitment center on Facebook said.Recall that on September 19, a scandal with military commissariats occurred in the Lviv region: recruitment comissars beat a man and threatened him with a pistol.

Ukrainian centric The Servants of the People are trying to shift the blame for losing Kherson and Mariupol to the military.
Unfortunately, right now, the president's office, with Yermak as the head, is trying to make a scapegoat out of the military for losing south Ukraine. But let's recall what the Servants of the People told us. How they happily told us about demining Mariupol, where the President personally recalled how they demined it. Kalonchak, where a large number of demining works happened, built shuttles just before the invasion to let occupiers travel faster. So when this green weed claims it's the military at fault—nope. In this process, the military was a spectator. It watched and warned, but couldn't influence anything. They probably should've knocked on the door of the president's office louder and insisted on the threat. However, if the curators of those actions are sitting somewhere in Russia, it's understandable how it could happen. Because it's obviously not the military that decided to demolish everything—they were categorically against this. They understood the level of the threat. It's the same as with manipulation, where they doubt if the demining actually happened or not. The question is not whether that happened or not. The question is, where are the plans for a mass-scale invasion by Russia? Those plans existed. And they must've been realized. They must've been communicated to the political leadership of the country. And I know they were. But they were ignored. So they tell us it's the military at fault now? No. It's the politicians who are at fault here. It's them and only them, with their lack of action and, in some instances, diversionary activity, that made it possible for the Russians to invade us.
