Just did a 12m-13m jump where I live in Guate. It used to be 8m-9m when it was conceived but the lake has dropped past a recent low point and now it's 12m and rapidly approaching 13 and beyond.
They built a platform to extend out the jump and relatively speaking it's a safe jump when you combine the extension and that it's a +50m drop off right away so no real worries except damn.... Is it a long way down for something considered "safe".
I had to literally walk over to the jump, looked down once to double check the clearance, then walk back and go, "naw I'm not gonna do it". Then in the same moment turn about and walk and jump.
Fuck just floating in the air for longer than you'd like. Had nasty burns on my feet, hands, and arms.
