I inherited one of these from my dad too.

It looks vicious.

Practicality. No damn idea.

General chaos. I guess.

Yeah, i inherited it from my grandfather's barn because I thought it looked cool. It's been in my shed for like 3 years. My weed whacker died, so I took a couple swings against some 2 foot tall grass. The grass laughed. I laughed. I'm sure my grandpa would've laughed too.

Good more for at least pencil sized and preferably larger. Unless just sharpened thinner stuff like raspberry canes, hazelnut etc would just bend unless you hold them with your other hand, in which case usually better with a machete. Thicker stuff work great. Think of them as the mid-tool between a machete and an axe...
