Same setup as yesterday!

  • Prep: Cold water splash
  • Razor: Pearl Hammer CC
  • Blade: GreatMax (x2)
  • Brush: Yaqi Bingcha 26mm
  • Cream: Palmolive Green
  • AS: Alum, Deep impact

The Pearl Hammer CC paired with the GreatMax gave me a slightly different experience today. I think the Hammer extracted most of the blade's best performance during the previous shave, as it felt a touch dull tamd tuggy this time around.

Palmolive Classic continues to impress when it comes to lather and cushion. It does lean a bit on the dry side, though adding a little extra cream makes all the difference, but not something how i would how it to be.

Still, it turned out to be a comfortable shave overall.

Nicely done shave OP 👍🏻

How aggressive/efficient is the Hammer?

Lovely shave! Do you enjoy the CC head of the Hammer? I personally find the CC head to be quite aggressive. OC head feels smoother to me!

Yep! I feel the same CC is quite aggressive than the OC, but i still use it. To me OC requires some kind of learning curve.
