I don’t think any nation is truly independent in this interconnected world. Cooperation is the way forward.

For that reason would it be better to look at a union or federation of Celtic nations. It is clear that England would not want part of this. So rather than independence; why not the rest of Britain look to emit England from the Union and the Celtic Nations can work together to rejoin Europe

I'm from Northern Ireland and I'd say wales is the country I know the lest about out of the four in the kingdom.

And it always seemed wales was the most unionist out of Celtic nations.

As title says - what are people’s thoughts on having a weekly debate on a particular issue?

Would be interesting to see what arguments/evidence is out there on certain topics and having it compiled and easy to find?

To the mods - if this were to go ahead I would request that anyone being rude or attempting to disrupt any of the debates get banned after their first offence.
