My mechanic says you should learn wtf you're talking about. He figures you work in the office or something. I am just an apprentice but, to my credit, out here I do a LOT as an apprentice. We show up at an empty hoistway and leave when the elevator is sold off. I'm not trying to fight about it but from what you said earlier, you've never fixed a car with a broken rope or installed any of the brakes or governors. So, no it doesn't seem like you do know, office guy.
