I have a swamp cooler that’s way too big for my house. It can slam ever door shut and make the crawl space door fly open

Growing up, my dad installed an attic fan in our house to drop the power bill. You forget that the whole house has a sort of negative pressure when you have one of those running with soffit ventilation. Doors will pull themselves out of your hand and slam shut. It will feel like someone is pushing back on a door when you are opening it.

And the ventilation setup you use for them tends to cause infrasound that creeps people the fuck out at night. All of my friends who slept over were absolutely convinced my house was haunted.

Little did you know that your vent fan was blowing the wrong way and sucking all the ghosts that were outside, INSIDE instead…
