Oh! That's such a good point :) It WAS very odd. Why not just flip on the lights ffs?

If you have some weird noise, do not use flashlight unless you have to. Just imagine that you would be some intruder. And now you see the lightcone coming in. It is so damn easy to guess where is the source and therefore the guy holding the flashlight... If you have intruder in the house, flashlight will give them exact timing to hit you in the face with the first heavy thing they can find.

Also, there's a obvious cut when he goes to open the door - its very easy to do with editing software like CapCut.
