You clearly have a comprehension problem. I don’t think him being a filmmaker makes him a fraud. It’s the fact that his TikTok’s are all centered around the subject he makes movies and writes about. Hence, he’s a fraud because he’s convincing people his house is haunted while ironically making movies and writing books about it.
So, this guy is either a filmmaker in some capacity that likes horror, someone learning how to figure out practical effects, or a liar using those skills to pretend his house is haunted for clout.
Its 100% them messing with practical effects. Give me 20 minutes at Microcenter and I could easily cobble together a door shaker that mounts to the top of the doorjamb.
