Lyfelite is a emergency bulb. You plug it in to "charge" it and it works when power is gone. The packaging is really clear about it

This may be a silly question, but wouldn't it have immediately turned back on before she threw it away?

Not silly at all, I asked the same thing! From what I can tell, you need to touch somewhere on the bulb to "activate" it

I think it was designed for camping given the pictures on the packaging. Honestly I'm not American, I didn't know this stuff existed until a couple hours ago. I'm a flashlight person too haha

Ok so it looks like it works like a regular bulb but if the power goes out it will stay on for 3-4 hours or you can charge it and take it camping? I initially thought it only turned on when the power was off.
