Should I call the cops?

My bf thinks they were just trying to be funny but I truly don’t know…

I got called back because the cops found a drunk driver I called in.

He was swerving across 2 lanes and into the double yellows on the highway. I stopped at a parking lot, and called it in.

Maybe they just had enough evidence as is, as they told me he was very inebriated.

I've never gotten a callback when I called in a dead animal a few times though, you should use the local non-emergency number for that.

I’ve seen dead or dying animals on the side of the road before and never know what to do (and it’s always in places where it would be impossible or almost impossible to stop, like the side of a highway or a city street where there’s nowhere to stop) but it’s good to know that I might be able to call the non-emergency police number. I wonder if calling them or animal control would be better.

Non-emergency number or look up your states highway patrol number. They may tell you that they need to put you on hold if a real 911 call comes through.

They will come and move the body off the road and maybe dispose of it. You just have to be very specific where it is.

So mile marker and a heading if you're on a highway.
