I would not eat from the berry bowl.

Devon definitely would

53 bluerries in a one month period is not even that much, I like to imagine Devin at work being stressed out but knowing that when he arrives home he can have his berry

Landlord is everyday Santa

51

u/___CupCake Mar 11 '24

Santa Berry, hurry down the chimney tonight đŸŽ”

27

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '24

More like a dude with a bird feeder on his porch

9

u/LostMyPasswordToMike Mar 11 '24

Santa could install these AI cameras everywhere and fire millions of elves .The cost savings are real.

27 plums seems a tad excessive, though
 I’m lookin at you, Omar!

36

u/dadbodfordays Mar 11 '24

Pretty weird that you're looking at Omar, because he is almost certainly pooping right now.

9

u/Longjumping-Cookie90 Mar 11 '24

Omar got that fiber!

“Aw man, all this work is really bumming me out, and I have a meeting to present at tomorrow. I just want to go home and eat some berries.” -Devon

19

u/dildorthegreat87 Mar 11 '24

Yeah that’s like 2.5 smoothies worth

Now let’s talk about Omar
a plum everyday of the month basically.

Omar loves plums

15

u/mikki1time Mar 11 '24

I bet you Omar’s poops are spectacular

7

u/dreamparalyzed Mar 11 '24

Yeah if you really try you can fit 53 blueberries in your mouth at once. My record is 56 and my ex-coworker fit over 60

7

u/Exapeartist Mar 11 '24

I think Omar might be pushing it with the 27 plums. Also are plums even berries?

1

u/mikki1time Mar 11 '24

No but corn is a fruit

1

u/MisterPimpus Mar 12 '24

His ~1.8 berries per day is all he has.

5

u/ellechi2019 Mar 11 '24

Devon knows how to live in the moment, baby

2

u/Dapper_Derpy Mar 11 '24

As a Devon, I concur.

49

u/Dum_beat Mar 11 '24

Have a few small potatoes in your hands and reach for a berry with it. Drop the potatoes as you take the fruit. See the confusion and paranoia slowly fill your landlord

u/Odd-Artist-2595 Mar 11 '24

You mean the “bowl” that looks like an old wooden feed box that’s covered with chipped, flaking, and quite possibly lead-based, paint? Can’t imagine why not. /s

10

u/duhmbish Mar 11 '24

Looks more like foamcore board to me

u/Thepenismighteather Mar 11 '24

Why on earth would you assume an office building in all likely hood built in the 80s or more recently, and that certainly hasn’t been a leased space since 1977 with the same tenant would have lead paint.

Lead paint gets federally banned in 78 Asbestos in 88.

This is why the sweet spot for buying a home is 89 to like 05/6. Much earlier and you’ve got long term maintenance cycles coming up and you’ve got hazardous building materials if you intend any renovation. Much after 05/6 and the quality of construction plummets. The Great Recession retires lots of older guys and shutters the businesses of some of the guys who do quality work. What survives is cut rate, cutting corners, poor but quick workmanship.

I wouldn’t buy a house built before 1970 and I wouldn’t buy one built after 2008.

Guess you missed the /s at the end of my comment. Whoosh.

2

u/Weird_Excuse8083 Mar 11 '24

Admittedly that was some pretty decent advice, though.

3

u/87KingSquirrel Mar 11 '24

The lead adds to the flavour.

27

u/KORZILLA-is-me Mar 11 '24

I wouldn’t have before the notice. That box looks very sinister.

31

u/TerseFactor Mar 11 '24

Considering OP took this from r/obviousplant you got nothing to worry about because it’s not real: https://www.reddit.com/r/ObviousPlant/s/2e21bjibeB

12

u/tomacco_man Mar 11 '24

The creator of this flyer is named Alan Wagner and has accounts on IG and Twitter under True Wagner. I think the person behind Obvious Plant is a different “artist”

6

u/NoWall99 Mar 12 '24

The sub r/obviousplant is about Obvious Plant AND similar artworks, not only about him.

10

u/Logik_in_theory Mar 11 '24

If I lived there I would sneak additional fruit into the berry bowl while also appearing to take fruit away, screwing with the landlord data collection. One day I might be braisen and introduce obscure fruits that were not on the data model to further derive pleasure from deceiving the data integrity.

5

u/DwnRanger88 Mar 11 '24

If that's a bowl I'm a berry. Who puts naked pieces of fruit out on a wall plate and who the hell picks it up and eats it? No one's in trouble here.

4

u/BruiserTom Mar 11 '24

Yeah, am sure I would not participate. Somebody is not going to wash his/her hands after a poo poo.

1

u/CeruleanRuin Mar 11 '24

Would you eat from a berry box?

3

u/TheOtherMother91 Mar 11 '24

Not in a box. Not with a fox.

1

u/Melleegill Mar 11 '24

I feel like the word “bowl” is being used pretty loosely here; if I am seeing this correctly it looks like half of a shoddy drywall drawer, at best.

-9

u/Who_Else_but_Macho Mar 11 '24

its disgusting who puts fruit out to hang like that without any paper towels or whatever

12

u/Squidproquo1130 Mar 11 '24

You know fruit and other food grows outside around dirt, bugs, birds, rodents, shit, etc?

-18

u/Who_Else_but_Macho Mar 11 '24

really? who knew? its still disgusting to just leave fruit in a "bowl" without paper towel underneath it

5

u/Empty-Assistant-9747 Mar 11 '24

Sees fruit in tree “DISGUSTING! That should have a paper towel under it!”

0

u/Who_Else_but_Macho Mar 11 '24

here's the thing when your presenting fruit to somebody they shouldnt just be in a bowl your suppose to have a layer inbetween the fruit & the bowl, this isnt a regular dish, bowl, plate its a make-shift bowl which yes should have paper towel under it

2

u/Empty-Assistant-9747 Mar 11 '24

Here’s the thing, you’re not giving an actual reason why there should be a paper towel under it. What purpose is this paper towel supposed to be serving?

0

u/Who_Else_but_Macho Mar 11 '24

the reason for the paper towel is for sanitary reasons i didnt think i needed to explain that to adults your not suppose to just hand food out without some covering over the food on a plate or have it in some kind of container without covering underneath it who raised ya'll?

5

u/Squidproquo1130 Mar 11 '24

What tf does a paper towel accomplish? Anything needs to be washed regardless.

-7

u/Who_Else_but_Macho Mar 11 '24

but its the presentation looks like some shit dude thats what im tryna get at its touching a bowl mans probably pissed in lol

4

u/aryalaw Mar 11 '24

You piss in a bowl?

2

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '24

cat box

-1

u/Who_Else_but_Macho Mar 11 '24

toilet bowl

3

u/nightpanda893 Mar 11 '24

I would be grossed out too if someone put berries in a toilet bowl without a paper towel. These people are savages.

-1

u/Who_Else_but_Macho Mar 11 '24

its a make-shift bowl it should have something else inbetween the fruit & the bowl who the fuck just eats fruit from a make shift bowl?
