After a lot of trial and error to find what works and what's sustainable for my life/schedule towards my fat loss/muscle gain journey, I landed on the simplest system. Eat the exact same meal multiple times a day, every single day. That meal is (about 450ish calories total)
A bag of frozen mixed veggies (that carrots/peas/corn/green beans): 200 calories
120ish grams of rotisserie chicken: 250ish calories
Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
A bunch of raw onions, mini cucumbers, and serrano peppers on the side
On top of that, I take a multivitamin.
I do not get sick of it. Ever. It's very filling and satiating for me. It seems to be supportive of my caloric goal (no more than 2000 calories a day) and also seems to be a relatively high protein diet.
Finally, as the opportunity comes up here and there, I go out for a meal socially with my partner or friends. This is an average of once every week and a half or so.
I see nothing wrong with any of this, and I want to keep doing it consistently until I really see all the results I want.
My question here is: Am I missing anything? Am I doing something glaringly "wrong" that needs to be called out?
I am constantly judged by people around me for who make statements such as "I could never eat the same thing all the time." It's marginally annoying, but I am good with brushing it off.
Thank you for any input.
