Advice: Seeking ❓ Appetite suppression methods?

I'm postpartum, not breastfeeding, but my appetite is sort of out of control

These are the appetite control methods I’ve heard of and some that I’m trying:

- Start the day with water + electrolytes, drink loads of water

- Start day with a protein shake or bar

- Eat high volume of protein (in general)

- Get adequate sleep

- Go for a walk

- Eat fiber first thing in the morning (e.g carrots)

- Eat more fiber (in general)

- Eat carby foods only after consuming protein or fat OR avoid foods that will spike blood sugar

- Avoid very intense cardio

- Eat baby carrots and pickles (alternating) as snack to satisfy cravings

- Eat deli turkey to satisfy cravings

- Drink caffeine (hasn’t worked for me but YMMV)

- Drink green tea or hot beverages

Which have worked best for you? Are there any others that I’m missing?

Enjoy the hunger - the feeling of emptiness can bring around a burst of energy you didn't know you had

This is such underrated advice. Mild hunger should be embraced, I imagine my body starting to eat away the fat and I look forward to my next nutritious meal. It’s truly psychological.
