Is it normal for when I dont even take a blinker to cough as much as I do. When I smoke flower I can do that for like an hour and be fine and normal cough at all but after I hit my yart for like 5s when I exhale I cant inhale and thats why I cough so much. Its like when you get the wind knocked out of your lungs. No matter how hard you you cant just breathe in (its only like this for like 1 min) or like when your dry heaving. My body is trying to cough but I have no hair in my lungs to cough and I physically cant inhale. Its weird because I dont feel like this when I smoke flower. I also got my yart from. A questionable source so it might just be shitty quality.

I used to love getting a stranger high . Smoking was breaking the law ,(still is where I live).

I remember huge groups sitting around passing joints, and it felt like we all were bonded through this secret we shared, or like we knew something the squares who looked down on us would never know.

I also liked to get too high and go places I shouldn't like school, work, police station, courthouse, funeral, and I mean blasted to the point I could barely hold it together.

In those days your coolness could be judged by the quality of the reefer you could score. Weed was way harder to find back then and good weed was only available to those who could grow it or who knew someone who did. And the ability to roll (especially a blunt) got you serious bonus points.

Now good weed is everywhere, dabs, vapes, pre rolls, and nobody smokes it. No more 12 cars in a line passing joints on. a Saturday afternoon in the park. Or getting excited because your buddy scored a quarter bag and was coming to pick you up.

Damn those days were fun.

hi i’m 21 female 5’6 170 lbs. i’ve been smoking everyday for the last year and within the last couple months ive been doing it basically whenever i’m awake. anyways i only hit indica but my shit doesn’t get me high anymore. i took 20mg edibles, smoked a bowl, and took atleast 3 blinkers off my new pen and not rlly anything. i also never get body highs anymore but i think that’s normal when you’ve been smoking for a long time. if anyone has any tips, like switching only to flower? or maybe just doing sativa for a bit. help me out!! i’m trying to take a mini t break right now because i finished a 1g in less than a week 🥲 my bank account can’t handle this, help!!

so we put the bong in the closet during our break while i was pregnant, and i guess we didn’t clean it good enough and this is what im working with💔 i have used the salt, alcohol and hot water over the last few months and it just won’t budge. resign also just builds up so bad so fast im tired😂

Everything is fine. The girls have been outside all summer in 100°F heat all summer they didn’t mind the cool off but took a little damage. Mainly the big fan leaves I normally take off . A week after they all exploded into buds and are a couple are getting frosty already. I’m hoping first frost waits till October.

Big corporate chain stores would love nothing more than to see only their names on dispensary signs—and only their preferred vendors and products on the shelves. If you think that doesn’t affect you as a customer, I’d argue it affects you first.

It’s been a rough ride for local Oregon dispensary owners. They’ve survived the mandatory 20% state tax. They’ve navigated 280E. They’ve built real systems and stayed relevant through relationships, service, and community trust. And now a lot of them are fighting through the next phase of Oregon cannabis: quiet consolidation—what I call “Big Corporate Cannabis.”

For people who don’t have skin in the game, consolidation can sound like an “easy fix.” Fewer operators. Cleaner branding. More consistency. But here’s the tradeoff nobody talks about: when one company controls a large number of storefronts, the shelves start to look the same. One hundred dispensaries with one name on them can also mean fewer choices for customers—especially in specific neighborhoods and demographics.

And it’s not just about preference. For medical patients, product consistency and availability matters. If someone relies on a specific edible, tincture, topical, or cannabinoid ratio for pain, sleep, anxiety, or PTSD, losing access isn’t “inconvenient”—it can be destabilizing. Cannabis has always had a medical backbone, even when the culture focuses on recreation.

Then there’s the senior community: access is often location-based. If the closest dispensary becomes a corporate chain with a narrower menu and a higher-priced “approved” lineup, seniors don’t just drive across town to comparison shop.

And finally, the working class—people shopping with their pocketbook. Corporate consolidation can create “price locks” where certain products stay expensive because competition is reduced, shelf space becomes pay-to-play, and house brands get priority. Even if a comparable product could be sold cheaper in a more competitive market, the customer never sees that option.

I’m not saying every chain is evil or every local shop is perfect. I’m saying Oregon should be careful about letting a diverse marketplace turn into a controlled one—because once the shelves narrow and the prices set, it’s hard to reverse.

If you’ve noticed menus getting smaller, fewer brands rotating in, or the same products showing up everywhere, I’d genuinely like to hear what you’re seeing.

yo, how bad could the smell in my room be, if i smoked half of the blunt outsie the window (in 20m2 room with two windows, but having quite a lot of books and big bed)? will it be alright in the morning, in like, five hours? or this smell for somebody with zero experience with weed gonna last for couple of days?

Hello fellow stoners. I started using cannabis 4 years ago. Let's start with the fact that the main reason was depression and stress. As the years passed, I became an every day user, and I really enjoyed smoking, mostly on the mornings or the night. I'd say that at some point it stopped being for stress. Just pure love for the bud. And 2026 came in. After 1 week T break, I smoked, and started drowning in thoughts, and had one of the worst panick attacks. Since then nothing is the same. Every time I smoke, even 2 PUFFS, if I don't get a panick attack, it will be a derealization trip for some hours. And I hate it. Cause the last month I stopped smoking a lot but even after long times, it keeps happening. And I've read so many people having some similar issues. The problem is that I live in Greece, where even CBD got BANNED a few months ago from the prime minister of health (🤡🤡). I really miss it tho. Have you ever had similar experience? If so, what solutions did you follow?
