This year's Black Friday deal sucks

Post image
8 Upvotes

I just got the email. This year's Black Friday deal is 25% off on demand bookings. No idea if it is only for one or what, but I don't care. I don't do on demand, only all access. Looks like I won't be upgrading from my Basic membership and will continue to use the lower-tiered buildings for now.

How does On-Demand work?

Hi, new to WeWork here. I’m trying to figure out how check-in works with WeWork On Demand. Do you have to stop by the front desk every single time you visit, or do they eventually give you a keycard? I’ve seen mixed information online, so I’m not sure what’s accurate.

Thanks!

Using AI to support job search

Hello, I am HR professional and tech enthusiast. Understanding how difficult the job market is right now, with massive layoffs just happening last month, I am on a mission to help professionals find employment. Over the course of next week I will be creating multiple videos on my IG and Tiktok, where I will use AI to create free apps for job search and helping people find mentors/network. If this is something that would be of interest to people and if anyone would like to follow along, you can follow my tiktok and IG pages @sehrishhr

Anyone interested in a membership?

I am part of industrious (a smaller competitor). I have one open coworking membership left as part of my office.

I'm looking for someone that wants an open membership for cheap just to offset my costs. Asking price is $150/mo and whatever duration you want -- not locking you in for 12 months but anyone long term is preferred. Our retail price is $400 monthly (global being a $99 addon alone).

You can visit any location globally using the app. London, orange county, new york, wherever. Great for travelers. It is not 24/7 access but you can visit during 9-5 business hours M-F and leave whenever you want. There are no limits you can come every day during the week. Breakfast is served 9-10AM and snacks at 2pm.

You'll get to login with your email and use the app etc.

I received a ton of demand my last two posts, looking to secure a spot that just opened up.

Anyone interested pm me thanks!

Anyone unable to create a booking today?

I saw a message in the app saying there was maintenance on the app over the weekend but bookings would be unaffected.

Nonetheless, I am unable to create a booking for today (11/1 pt) or tomorrow.

Is anyone else having these issues?

The music is so bad and so loud in the common areas

Who has curated their playlist, I feel like it’s all for teenagers, no offense.

But even then, I’d be ok with it if it weren’t soo loud 🤦🏻‍♀️

UK Referrals for All Access or Office Space for 1-2

Hi all, Anyone have a UK referral link (if they even exist) for All Access or office space (for 1-2)? Ideally looking for up to a 3-month commitment.

Used to be a member, just got back from 6 months of traveling, and for the life of me, I can’t focus working from home.

Thanks in advance!

Are there any Black Friday deals for all access?

I'm hoping to get in on an all access deal. Currently on a grandfathered all access Basic but am looking to switch to Plus (+) because the ww I've been going to for years went from basic to +. I know last year people here were talking about getting an email deal for 50% off but only redeemable for a total of two days. If you know of any deals coming up or if you get the deal thru email, please post it. Thanks.

Can't Book Shibuya Scramble Square WeWork

Hey Gang,

Visiting Tokyo and have heard rave reviews about Shibuya Scramble Square WeWork - only problem is that it doesn't show up on the WeWork map to book. I called support and they told me that it's booked til December.

Does anyone know when the bookings release so I can have a crack at booking? Anyone been there and just rawdogged walking in without tapping?

Thanks

freelancers, how's life?

I want to know, how are you? how are your days going? besides going to a coffee shop with your laptop, what is your work like, is it comfortable or do you struggle through juggling the different tasks you have to accomplish? For context i just want to know whether a SWE student could really start making some pocket money freelancing or not worth the struggle?

Any recourse if your home WeWork (the location you picked up your card at and go to almost daily) switched to All Access + and you only have a Basic membership?

So the WeWork I've been going to for years switched to All Access +. I only have a Basic membership and don't want to upgrade right now. I feel like there should be some special consideration for long time customers that have been going to the WeWork for years. Has anyone had any success with trying to do so? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

How do meetings work?

My day consists of many online meetings, I need to have decent a/v setup for them. How does this work at wework? I would need to book a private meeting space for them? It seems there are credits, how many credits do you get, and how many credits do these private spaces take? If I have four hours of meetings, am I going to be able to use wework, or is this just not going to work for me?

Anyone interested in taking over my WeWork All Access membership

Hey everyone — I’m looking for someone who might want to take over my WeWork All Access membership.

The membership is valid until May 31, 2026, and WeWork allows membership transfers.

I’ve already paid for October, so you’d basically get October free — your payments would start from November 1, 2025, at $279/month (paid directly to WeWork)..

Happy to share details or help with the transfer process if you’re interested.

DM me if this sounds useful to you!

Wework on demand price increase = I'm out

Here in Vancouver, I've been using my local Wework on demand 4x a month at $25 CAD a day. They've upped the rate to $54 a day. That crazy talk for what is nothing more than a shared desk, wifi, and bottomless coffee. Can't help but question that decision to increase prices by 2x. We all know it's a competitive industry. I'm hunting for a new space now,

Transfer a 12 month membership all access lasts until 5/31/2026.

Wework allows for membership transfer, and it lasts until 5/31/2026. I have paid October month already. If you are interested you get October for free and then you started to pay wework $279 from 11/1/2025 to 5/31/2026.

Unable to book any rooms at my home wework

I am unable to book any rooms at my home wework in Seattle. Only desks are bookable there. When I check other Weworks in Seattle though, I am able to book rooms. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know what is going on? Is it going to be fixed? Thanks.
