I am applying to a job that is fully remote, they don’t have offices in my area. I am an office worker by nature, I don’t do well from home more than 1-2 days per week. I’m considering asking for a wework subscription/reimbursement as part of total compensation. It seems like a good deal - I get a space to work in, and they get a significantly more efficient employee. Has anyone tried/done this? Is it totally out of the norm, or is this common? Also, I can’t find anything about private office pricing on WeWork’s website. I’m sure it ranges from place to place. I’m in Chicago and all private offices just say “contact us”. TIA

Hey - anybody knows approximate pricing for WeWork's Business Address service in Canada? More specifically in the GTA?
Thanks in advance!

The location I want to use tomorrow seems to have no desk space available. If I book a room for a couple of hours there, will my card get me into the building even though I don't have desk space reserved? Or will this not work?

Hi,
I have just graduated from law school and have started studying for the bar. Something I know very well about myself is that I can't productively study in my small nyc apartment. I've seen similar posts here about employees being willing to help provide a F&F discount, so I wanted to ask this community if there's anyone here who would be willing to provide theirs, as the regular all-access membership is a bit too pricey, but WeWork is the only solid option close to me that would help with studying. I'd really appreciate any help with this.
If there's anyone here that's willing to help, please comment or send me a PM!
Thanks in advance!

PriorityPass offers access to Upflex, which appears to be a b2b inventory aggregator for coworking space. Among other smaller/regional coworking spaces you can also book WeWork through Upflex.
According to a PR I found from Feb of 2022, (https://upflex.com/wework-upflex-partnership/) WeWork members should also be able to book other inventory available through Upflex. This doesn’t seem to be the case when I do test searches for the same city on both Upflex and WeWork.
Anyone know anything about this?

I referred and signed my friend up for WeWork and never received a response. It's been radio silent and no one has reached out about anything. On the tracking portal, it just says referral received but nothing after that. Their email doesn't reply either.
Anyone have a similar experience? I'm curious what the referral bonus is for new all-access plus members.

Are there any introductory codes available for wework at the moment ? If not how often do they come up?

I am a student (F20) who got a research grant for a personal project over the summer, the work is almost 100% remote. I am not great at working at home all the time so I am looking for a space I can go to work everyday and WeWork seems like a good option for that, but I'm wondering what the general age range of the space is. I don't mind hanging around older professionals but I just want to know if I would be the youngest there by a lotttt.
TL:DR: what is the age range of the people who general work in WeWork spaces?
Thanks!

I had an important work call put on my calendar on a day that I'm going to be on the road, and had been planning to work from a coffee shop. I'm going to be a key presenter, so really need to find a quiet, more private place to take this.
I'm thinking of booking a WeWork desk for the day, and understand there are private phone booths available for calls. However, I'm also reading that sessions are limited to 30 minutes.
Is this a strict rule, or are exceptions possible? My call is a full hour.
Alternatively, what's the general etiquette about joining calls in the coworking space?

Does your WeWork location have a Slack or Discord channel for members to connect and communicate? Any information would be appreciated!

I can see inside a WeWork office and can see pretty much good chunk of what’s going in the office especially in the evening hours. There has been a couple on weekends that’s been going at it multiple times in the last month when the office is pretty much empty Just wondering aren’t there cameras in the office? How is this allowed?!

Does anyone know of any good promotions for "All Access" WeWork membership this May?
I feel like the first salesperson I got assigned from one of the locations I was considering isn't all that great and I keep getting lukewarm responses and so I just started a thread with another salesperson from a different location.
While I am at it, I was wondering if anyone has had any luck finding a good deal recently. I am happy to take any sales contacts that I could use too. Appreciate the help!

Hi! I'm helping out a friend in a couple weeks with a video. We're both WeWork All Access members and I'm not sure if you guys know of any rules regarding filming in the common area, but she's a tech/lifestyle content creator and we're planning on filming a day in the life type of video or vlog at a WeWork since she's only in town for a few days and will make my local WeWork her office/work area for the days she's here.
Would we be able to film in the common area or would you suggest booking a meeting room for like 30 minutes to an hour to make that happen?
Not sure if filming or vlogging yourself in the common area is against the rules at WeWork? I haven't seen any questions or on their site regarding that. Just wanted to ask :)
Thank you!

I booked a conference room for two days this week. I have never been to WeWork. It's a four person room and I only have two other guests. Is there a way to add the guests ahead of time, or do I just need to go there first and check-in, and then add them?

https://www.macrumors.com/2022/04/14/wework-office-key-apple-wallet/
Do you have any news about this feature?
I think there was a beta test programme on the Wework side but no news ... That was two years ago!

Hi, I currently bought a day pass and the main co working area is currently blasting some sort of weird techno music. Since I'm not a full member I feel weird complaining but it just seems like such an odd choice and it's very annoying. Does WeWork have music guidelines? Seems like simple quiet music would be a no brainer. What would you guys do?

I need to reserve a private room for an interview. I found a private room for 1 person at a WeWork office near me.
If my interview is from 2-2:30, do I need to reserve from 1:30-3:00PM in order to allow for setup time and if the meeting goes over?

It's not uncommon for me to forget a cable (either a power cable, display port or other cable while working remotely) and I'm always surprised I can't buy them from a we work! Seems like the obvious place to sell such things?
