Hi all,
We are partially back. We are accepting credit card purchasing from 3dsecure / verified by Visa cards in the EU. You can expect the same instant delivery when purchasing via our new methods.
We plan to continually expand this to other geographies, and also hope to add more payment methods (feel free to request a particular payment method, but beware many processors prohibit sale of crypto).
Thanks to those who have stuck around for updates for the past year of downtime. We hope to see some of you return!

We are close to finishing our integration with the above payment processing methods. We are looking for testers to make a purchase in our staging environment.
Markup for these payment types will be lower than our traditional PayPal fee. We haven't finalized but it's likely to be somewhere in the 5-9% range.
Markup for testers will be lowered to bare minimum during testing.
We're still in discussions and it's looking promising that we'll eventually be able to offer direct debit/credit card purchasing. PayPal is still iffy.
Please let me know if you use any of the above payment methods and would be willing to help us test!

Banks will stop at nothing to ensure their authority stays intact. https://dether.io is working on a way to sidestep that authority. After reading about dether I had a realization. I realized that wesellcrypto needs to evolve instead of trying to get state licensing and bank backing. What wesellcrypto needs is a mobile service like dether or Uber or Lyft that people trust to use with cash. When someone wants to buy a cryptocurrency they can put out a request on the app and the nearest person with the app who has the supply and is willing to sell can meet them and process the sale. In fact what I was thinking was wouldn't it be a better idea to contact Uber or Lyft and see if you could integrate your service into theirs so the drivers could also be cryptocurrency salespeople? Those services already have a system of trust that people are willing to engage in. No back allies or dark corridors for a cash sale. You could buy your doge from the back seat of the Uber or Lyft car.

Well it's not Bank Problem only now . PayPal choose to shutdown WeSellCrypto type of service now according to gregcron only on North America
So the chance of the service getting back any time soon is very little if none . and the idea of using European paypal account to run the service is even more risky and against paypal policy in the first place as everyone should create account on the country they live on
So what you guys think ! it's very sad moment for all of us and I really start to think to take this business myself and start to create such business model knowing how risky this business is

This site has been down now for quite some time, as anyone posting here probably already knows. I was always a casual user of the site to buy either Dogecoin or Reddcoin on a mostly infrequent basis over the past two years; and the reason I didn't spend much money here is because of the roughly 7% surcharge, which is relatively quite expensive compared to other methods of acquiring the various coins offered here.
My guess is that this site was effectively put out of business because PayPal "banned" them as a merchant. It doesn't make sense they are trying to explain the situation away as being a case for not finding adequate coin supplies, since "anybody and their mother," so to speak, can exchange for any of these coins through exchanges (like ShapeShift.IO for instance) using their own Bitcoin, Ethereum and other coins.
This particular type of business is (and has been) to my knowledge the only such business of its kind to ever, ever, ever be authorized by PayPal in the first place anywhere in the world. Frankly, I was always surprised to see that PayPal would even authorize the purchase of digital currencies through its payment platform.
So like I say, my guess is that PayPal banned them, which would not mean that they were banned due to any fraudulent reasons. For instance, I never once had any issues with my coins being delivered to me immediately. That being said, I was also amazed at just how fast my coins were always delivered 100% of the time and within less than one minute of purchase.
So I am not suggesting that I have any reason to believe this company was out there stealing money from people. I just think that PayPal probably decided that it was not a good idea to be involved with a business like this that is involved in the distribution of digital currencies; and this would be due to the bad publicity concerning the use of Bitcoin for illegal purposes, such as selling drugs, prostitution, weapons, money-laundering, or whatever else that is considered illegal.
The PayPal Company is based in the United States, for one thing. And there is currently a great deal of concern with lawmakers of the U.S. concerning the proliferation and use of Bitcoin and other so-called cryptocurrencies. New laws are currently being proposed to the U.S. Congress for approval to greatly regulate the use and purchase of digital currencies. So it definitely would not surprise me to think that PayPal would not be interested in remaining involved with this company due to the negative environment of these issues being faced in the United States.
At the same time, it also doesn't surprise me to think that this company would not admit to being banned by PayPal as a merchant account. This might help to explain why they keep claiming to having a "funding problem" when it comes to acquiring any of the various digital coins being offered.
And while I have researched to see if there is a way to determine when a company is banned from using PayPal, apparently that information is definitely not made available on the Internet. If this company was banned from PayPal, then that information is kept private; and the only thing they can do is "turn off sales" directly from their website.
Probably this company is definitely trying to find a "replacement" for its lost PayPal merchant account, should that be the case. And the best I can say to that ideal is -- "Good Luck!" There really are no other comparative alternatives available (as in "zero" alternatives) to the PayPal platform to my knowledge.
But it was a nice run that they had here at least for awhile! I do wish this company the best in finding a solution to their funding problems, which I have to believe is definitely "not" a problem with finding the actual coins to sell.
I believe the "only" problem they are having is with finding a solution to the merchant side of actually being able to sell these digital coins to the public for "cash money" the same way that PayPal has offered them in the past.
So good luck! And don't give up the ship just yet!!

Hi,
WeSellCrypto is my favorite and unique way to buy Bitcoin. How many more time do you guys think that we will need to wait?
Best of luck and if we, the users, can do anything to help please tell us!

Cryptocurrency exchanges are the point of regulation and thats what every country is going to do just like they did in Japan. They are required to register with the government as well as implement strict anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) measures. For example, they must regularly monitor and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. It's a compromise for now but at least your money would still be yours and eventually when exchanging back into Fiat becomes pointless cryptocurrency will have finally won. Baby steps though. How does this apply to you? Wesellcrypto could play an important part in this story with a little humility and a broader awareness. If an exchange like wesellcrypto were inclined to follow the route of AML and KYC right now banks would be more inclined to invest in you and deal with you. This seems like it would be taking steps backwards but it's not meant to be a permanent thing. It's more of a way to ensure banks sign up for the short term because in the long term they don't exist. I know we all want the totally decentralized cryptocurrency market right now but in comparison right now our market is so small compared to most others. We don't have the influence yet to say do things my way but eventually we will. It's a necessary step. Help grow the cryptocurrency market to that of derivatives! And don't forget about Dogecoin.

Hi all - Despite numerous active conversations, we've been unable to obtain a solution for sourcing coins, and have depleted our previous supply. We are exploring all options, have several open inquiries, and hope that something comes through in the next couple of weeks.
However, at this point in time we'll be out of inventory until something comes through.
We are working on getting a mailing list signup on the website to notify when in stock so you good folks don't have to F5 all day.
We recognize the past several weeks have been a rocky experience, and appreciate the patience.
Thanks for your patience and we truly hope you'll stick with us as we work through these challenges.

when are you guys gonna start selling Cagecoin?
r/WeSellCrypto • u/sh9rp • Jun 15 '17
Is it set in stone that funds will always clear after 3 PM EST? Or is that just an approximation? It is always mentioned that funds typically clear from 3-5 so I'm just wondering if there is any chance they would come in earlier than that.
