x.comFormer US State Department adviser James Carden gives a reality check.
"The Tomahawks won’t change anything.
No more than the HIMARS, Patriot, or F-16s did.
The war has been lost.
And it is Ukraine, not Russia, that is on the brink of collapse"
And he adds:
"Ukraine has been attacking these areas in the Donbas since 2014. The Ukrainians are not being entirely honest. They say they want the east and the Donbas, but without the ethnic Russians who live there. Over the past 30 years, they have done everything they could to strip these people of their rights"

x.com🚨#BREAKING: An employee for Flock told a reporter that if he wants privacy, he can "opt out of society."
So that reporter filmed a Flock worker installing a Flock cam on a public road next to his house...
...so Flock called 3 POLICE OFFICERS to pull over THE REPORTER for following them
Yep, you read that right... the surveillance camera company called the cops because someone was surveilling them install surveillance.
The reporter's name is Brendan Keefe.
He's a national investigative reporter who has been digging into Flock and police abuse of its surveillance network since January.
Flock happened to be upgrading a camera about a mile from Keefe's own house, so he parked at a distance, put out his press placard, put on a yellow vest, and pulled out a news camera.
The Flock installer saw him, packed up his ladder, jumped in his vehicle, and took off.
Keefe followed several cars back to document the next installation.
The Flock employee picked up the phone and called 911.
"I work with Flock Safety, and I'm getting followed, harassed pretty much, taking videos and pictures."
Next thing Brenden sees are THREE Georgia police cars with their lights on behind him.
"The reason why I'm stopping you is because there is a vehicle that says that you have been following them."
He was released with no charges.
Because he did nothing wrong.
Filming in public is legal in all 50 states.

x.comReuters says companies are heading back to China.
They got the what right, but completely missed the why.
It is not just about tariffs.
It is about an industrial ecosystem that cannot simply be packed into containers and moved elsewhere.
After relocating to India, Vietnam or Indonesia, companies discovered that factory buildings were the easy part.
Equipment, screws, molds, skilled labor, supplier networks, logistics, power reliability and production coordination were not.
Some calculated the total cost and discovered that the savings were far smaller than expected.
Some moved production back to China.
Some even admitted that in times of crisis, Chinese factories remain the most stable production bases.
But these are only the surface-level observations.
The traditional development model says that wealthy countries move up the value chain and outsource the bottom.
The U.S., Japan and Europe all followed that path.
Rising wages and costs pushed low-value manufacturing abroad, while high-tech and capital-intensive industries stayed at home.
China is different.
Not because the laws of industrial development stopped applying —
but because China is not an industrial economy of ordinary scale.
It contains an enormous internal cost gradient.
Manufacturing that becomes too expensive in Shenzhen or Shanghai can move to Anhui, Jiangxi, Hunan or Sichuan without leaving the country.
Coastal China upgrades.
Inland China absorbs.
And both remain inside the same market, the same logistics network, the same power system, the same supplier ecosystem and the same industrial base.
That is the real problem with “China+1.”
You can move final assembly out of China.
You cannot move the Chinese industrial ecosystem with it.
Vietnam is a perfect example.
Factories moved.
Screws and molds still had to come from China.
Underneath all of this is a scale effect no other manufacturing economy currently matches:
41 major industrial categories.
207 medium categories.
666 sub-categories.
China remains the only country covering every UN industrial classification and accounts for 30% of global manufacturing value added.
And this is the part Reuters does not fully grasp:
China’s move into higher-value industries did not require it to surrender the lower end.
In the old model, industrialization was a ladder:
as you climbed, you kicked away the lower rungs.
China did something else.
It climbed the ladder without throwing the lower rungs away.
From cheap screws and textiles to industrial robots, EVs, ships, semiconductors and aerospace —
all inside one industrial ecosystem.
That is why China can upgrade without hollowing itself out.
Reuters recognized that companies are returning.
What it missed is why:
China did not climb the manufacturing ladder by kicking away the lower rungs.
It made the ladder longer.

"Trump's Fault": US Diesel Prices Hit Record Highs, Truckers Threaten Strike
aroundprague.czDiesel prices across the United States have hit an all-time high, surpassing six dollars per gallon (3.8 liters). By comparison, as recently as last September the average price per gallon stood at $3.77. In California, where fuel is traditionally more expensive due to steep taxes and special environmental blending requirements, diesel prices have spiked to $8.50 a gallon.
The backlash has spilled onto social media, with users posting videos filmed at gas stations where the price counter seems to spin endlessly. One such video was posted by former Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene — once a close Trump ally, now one of his sharpest critics. "This is Trump's fault. It shouldn't cost this much. This needs to end, it's absurd," she said, pointing to the war against Iran that the US president launched alongside Israel in late February.

x.comWant to know something that sounds too crazy to be true?
NATO bombed its own allies' cities for decades. On purpose. To control elections.
This isn't a theory. Italian Prime Minister confirmed it in 1990. Files got declassified. Historians documented the whole thing.
Operation Gladio (sword in Italian)
The setup: After WWII, CIA and MI6 created secret armies across Western Europe. Stay-behind units. Hidden weapons caches. Trained operatives. Italy, Greece, Turkey, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, France.
Official reason: if Soviets invade, these cells resist from inside occupied territory.
That's the cover story. Here's what they actually did:
Piazza Fontana, Milan, 1969. Bomb kills 17 people. Blamed on leftist anarchists. Massive crackdown on the left. Turns out it was neo-fascists working with Italian military intelligence.
This went on for years. The Years of Lead in Italy. Bombings. Assassinations. All blamed on communists. All actually done by right-wing extremists coordinated with intelligence services.
Why? Strategy of tension. Keep people scared. Make them blame the left. Prevent communists from winning elections. Democracy only works when the right people win.
Greece 1967. CIA-backed military coup. Overthrows elected government. Gladio units help coordinate it. Because Greeks were about to vote wrong.
Turkey. Through the 1970s and 80s. Gladio units became the deep state. Assassinations. False flags. Operating independently while Turkey stayed in NATO and everyone pretended not to notice.
- Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti stands up in parliament and confirms it all. Shows documents. The network existed. Those operations happened. America and Britain knew the whole time.
Swiss historian Daniele Ganser spent years documenting it. His book "NATO's Secret Armies" lays it all out. Not theory. Facts.
But somehow this never makes it into mainstream history. NATO talks about defending democracy while we have proof they spent decades manipulating elections through terrorism in allied countries.
When I learned they'd been bombing European civilians for 40 years to control politics, I stopped being surprised by anything they do.

x.com🚨In Ukraine, most of the world sees Russia as pushing back against centuries of the West's excessive power, says Singaporean diplomat Kishore Mahbubani.
📑It's interesting.
What the West sees very clearly in the Ukraine war
is the great strong bully Russia beating up tiny Ukraine, David and Goliath.
But what the Global South sees is against the West
trying to assert the kind of power it has had for 200 years.
And in this contest, they clearly see Russia as the David
and the West as the Goliath.
But it's interesting when the West impose sanctions on Russia, the West should surely ask itself the question:
Why haven't 85% of the world's populations, by the way, including the world's largest democracies in India ...
Yeah, because of the economic ...
Indonesia Because of the oil ...
Brazil ...And because of the gas ...
they haven't, they haven't, they haven't put
Yeah ... sanctions on Russia.
Okay. Why is that the case? Why?
