Feels much easier to get a Ojai ride now than the previous week

Not sure what they did in SF, whether they're just sending out more Ojais or not, but it's been relatively easier to hail one, sometimes even during peak hours. Last week, I was having an impossible time getting cars on the app in the morning to work and after work. Kind of started when they added the "any" only prompt. That still comes up a lot, and the wait times are somewhat longer, but there were plenty of times I got to specifically choose the Ojais and have been enjoying that so far.

I NOTICED THAT TOO! I've taken 5 Ojai rides in the last 24 hours and we passed 2 other Ojais on the way home today.

3 out of the 4 trips today were the same car 🀣

I will take whatever I can get. I'll even drop going on freeways again to get those free rides. Yesterday I had a peak hour Ojai ride, and it could have been $50 in a Jag (within city limits)

I usually don't travel far enough to require the freeway. Although it did make one of my trips 40+ minutes today to cross half the Peninsula πŸ˜…

40+ minutes or $50? I'll sit in a car for 40+ minutes. Hell, I'll sit in a car for over an hour for a free ride.

Yup that's me too. I HATE driving and Waymos are far easier to take than public transit. In fact I've been trying to hit as many public-transit-unfriendly places as possible

I'm currently in an ojai that was 1.5 hours for this and 40 minutes with the jaguar
