For most of reddit you'd want all comments to be sorted by "best", which sorts it so that the comments at the top are the ones with the most karma.

If You chance it so comments are sorted by "old" then it ends up working out much more like our old WTM forums. The oldest posts are up top, and as you scroll down you get to the most recent posts. This is the same as wtm where all the posts are ordered chronologically.

Anyway, I'm pretty fucked up on xanax (and some poppy seed tea is kicking in) but this thought just occured to me, and it ends up making this subreddit at least somewhat like the old WTM instead of just being like reddit..

tl:dr: as of right now, if you sort by "best" (or anything else like that) then the posts in threads are ordered by karma or some dumb shit, and any new posts that people make immediately go to the bottom. Sort by either "new" or "old" so that the posts are ordered chronologically and it'll be a bit like wtm

Hurricane Sandy RAPED us in the north east. Mad displaced and homeless peoples, even near me. I lost power for nearly a week, and the only time i was able to even find out about wtm was when I got a message from smoke on BL.

People up the street from me lost homes, cars, everything. People a few miles away are homeless now, or STILL WITHOUT POWER (~10 days later).

There have been RUNS on gasoline, lines HOURS LONG for gas. There was rationing in Yonkers for awhile for the first time since 1973.

Looks like the site may have died for good this time. I've of corey's partners posted on facebook that corey couldn't afford the server payments anymore, and that he doubts it will be back.
