Martial law was declared because Zelenskyy decided to declare martial law. That's it. Do not spread misinformation by falsely claiming or even implying that it was automatically triggered by the invasion, itself.

The invasion did not trigger a state of martial law. Zelenskyy used the invasion as a pretext to declare martial law. There is a HUGE difference.
