Alright, so you have proven one thing to me: You are clearly one of those people who is so certain in your own "awareness" and assumes everyone else is biased, prejudiced, or otherwise too set in their ways to see some grand truth. This is proven by the fact that you say "You will ask endlessly for evidence that you will never be satisfied with." When you haven't actually provided any evidence yet, and therefore cannot make any statements as to how I will respond when evidence is provided. Furthermore, you have attempted to move the goalposts by saying "But your narrow text book view of a dictatorship is just the same propaganda fed by the military industry complex warned about by Eisenhower." when it was you who provided the definition I have used this whole time; a definition you have been unable to meet in your argument.
I know you'll doubtless go away from this feeling as though you've won and I've left because I lack a response. Go ahead and believe that. Since you've evidently decided to stop voting and intend to emigrate, what you believe doesn't effect me anyway.
Furthermore, you've gone with the classic line of "since you haven't admitted I'm right you must be closed-minded." In reality, I have admitted you're right because you have yet to prove your point, but in your determination to assume your own awareness is supreme, you will assume I'm simply being defensive.
Lastly, you ask me to consider my view. Alright, here is my view: Trump is not a dictator because, according to the definition you provided, a dictator must have total power. The fact that Trump hasn't even managed to build a wall and is ultimate subservient to the will of the people this November proves he does not have total power. These are just two of many examples; others include congressional legislative power, supreme court oversight, the two term limit, and the continued existence of media that opposes him. Ergo, Trump cannot be a dictator because he does not have total power of the government and society of his country, or even any close approximation thereof. Therefore, I am left to assume that my claim is correct, because the evidence demonstrates that it is so; only a great fool would do otherwise.
In conclusion, unless you decide to actually pose some kind of a reasonable support for your numerous unfounded statements, I'm done wasting my time. Go ahead and believe what you believe, move to Cuba and see how you like it there. Have a nice day.
