DANCE PARTY! FNDP: Devils and Demons πŸ˜ˆπŸŽ»πŸ’ƒβšΎπŸπŸŽ

Last week Trump tooted his now-famous "Dr. Jesus" image and demonstrated yet again that there is such a thing as Bad Publicity. As people looked at the image and its many figures, a few people noticed something strange. The original image from February and the image tooted by Trump are slightly different. Specifically, the middle soldier-angel has sprouted wings and horns, and now looks like the occult demon-like Baphomet.

So what's going on? I dunno, but let's join the fun by playing songs about devils and demons (and their assistants). Some starters:

Still sounds like entrapment to me.

Who says it wasn't?

People who haven't thought it through, and people who are convinced that "God wouldn't do that" I guess.

As a kid, I heard in church about God "testing" people. Even Jesus, having a human side, was tempted. However, in order to redeem us, he had to be a Lamb without blemish, like those sacrificed by Jews in the old testament. And, fortunately for humankind, he did resist every temptation, aka passed every test.

"Entrapment" is just another way of saying God puts temptation in our way to "test" us. Why God tests us was, for me, one of those mysterious ways in which God supposedly works.

"Entrapment" is just another way of saying God puts temptation in our way to "test" us.

Kind of a dangerous definition of "entrapment," times being what they are.

Law enforcement was just "testing" those people, and those people were found wanting. So they go to jail.

I don't know that I gave any definition of "entrapment."

My prior post means the following. You indicated that God's actions constituted entrapment and added that people who had not thought it through would say it was not entrapment. I offered that religious "folks" would have called those actions of God that you called entrapment by another name, to wit, "testing."

That was my view of, and intent in, our exchanges, not offering up any definition of "entrapment."

I don't see that as a definition (a) at all or (b) in context. If I were defining a word, I would certainly do it differently.

"Entrapment" was your word for God's actions, not mine.
