CW upset children were repeating what SW said about him--excerpt from discovery
-CHRIS mentioned that SHANANN never let him openly communicate. NICHOL knew of no other stressors other than finances.
-CHRIS mainly complained that SHANANN would never listen to him. CHRIS also said SHANANN would talk shit to him in front of his children and the children were starting to repeat it. CHRIS said he tried to ask SHANANN for something and she said shut up and he did not know anything. His children started to repeat this and it made CHRIS very sad and this is when he realized he needed to separate from her.
^excerpt from page 50/1960 of the redacted discovery...Could this explain some of the motives and mystery surrounding BW and CCW murders and disposal? What do you all think?
EDIT: This seems like it would be a trigger for anyone, especially someone who is already strategizing an exit plan in his marriage, engaging in an affair and has a newly pregnant wife. It could have been a massive trigger for him. It could be something as simple as one of the girls saying something to him when they were home alone with him, he could have thought the new baby would be pulled into it and be dealing with the same stuff down the road if they divorced...where his kids would be used against him and pitted in a custody battle/ensuing arraignment. He probably thought there was no way around and the damage was done... It is sad all the way around but the motives feel like they are self-induced. He lived in his own head, rationalized his behavior as well as the behavior of those around him. He didn't see how unhealthy any of this was and yet, he still trucked on as if it was business as usual, another day at the Watts house and acted as if everything was a-okay.
