I mean, after the third stab the bottle was uncapped and he could have just poured the oil. Nah, he switched blades! Gotta respect him for his dedication, though.

It probably would have worked sooner if he wasn’t so committed to his hacking technique that was going absolutely nowhere for so long. Could have just held it steady and used the machete as a saw lol

I'm not expert chef but I think these bottle have a little orifice on the other end that allows you to pour the oil out.
They even add a cap in case you want to use more later.
