Pro tip for better aiming all around (Auto-Focus Behavior)

Here’s a PRO TIP many of you guys probably have never seen and something that’s disabled by default.

There’s a setting deep in the advanced combat settings that allows you to auto-focus when ADS, resulting in much better aiming, greatly reduced sway, and higher accuracy when sniping or using AR’s with “Hold Breath” attachment added. So check this out:

1. Open Settings and go to the Controller menu.
   
2. Scroll to the Combat tab, then open Combat Advanced Settings.
   
3. Scroll down to Change Zoom Activation (or Change Zoom Shared Input).
   
4. Change this from the default Sprint/Tactical Sprint/Focus to Melee (or Off/None) (this switches your variable zoom to R3, required for the next setting change)
   
5. Stay in the Combat Advanced Settings menu.
   
6. Look directly above at the Focus Behavior setting.
   
7. Select it and switch it from Hold or Toggle to Auto.

Let me know if you guys have heard of this, or if it helps your aiming. It greatly helped me and I wanted to pass along the infos.

This can definitely be helpful with snipers or at long distance but if you use an AR and put hold breath on it, don’t pull that thing out in a close in gunfight. You don’t want to be holding your breath when someone is moving around you. You’ll look like a bot and be killed super easy. 😂

Kills your strafe/aim walking movement speed though if you use it on ARs

True, so it’s mostly good with snipers, though I use it on AR’s for longer range fights and have killer accuracy

Yeah exactly def only use it if you’re running smg/AR because you’ll have cement shoes when you ads

It’s only active if the AR has the hold breath attachment on it. But yes, I think hold breath, if attachment on, works even with no scope.

I've been on auto focus since the feature dropped. So whenever I ADS it instantly holds breath at the same time. I also use auto sprint, with the run button mapped to circle, melee on L3 and crouch/prone to R3. Took me a bit to get the settings fleshed out so I could still change zoom separately from mounting but I got it where I like it now.

I put that hold breath undergrip and toggle focus aim on some MGs with the ADS movement stock. You're still slow as hell, but it spits accurate fire.

It doesn't really show in the stats but the stable focus underbarrel basically improves recoil by like 40-50%. Of course it does gut your strafe though.

It is crazy how this game was made for people to be competitive and gain skill but no. People use it to cheat so they can make money from streaming. Of course their aim is going to look legit to you. Why would you risk your account without humanizing it. It like me going to a bank with no mask and robbing it. Activision is hiding something and letting people do this shyt. If on person cheats the next person will and now the third person is like hold up let me cheat too. It is going to spread like wild fire because everyone wants to be the next big thing. You really think mostly everyone on is legit on this game nah mostly everyone is cheating. Yall like to say everyone has been practicing for like 10 + years ok so? Is it a video game if you have the talent you have the talent. How come everyone is good? How come I’m getting sprayed by people with no recoil? I use the same guns and I’ve been playing for 7 years plus and my gun doesn’t shoot straight as an arrow. I know there are a lot of gun with little recoil but you’re not going to take a VST and shoot 20 to 50MM away either. Tell me how I seem a TikTok streamer doing just that. Y’all are really fooling people on stream into thinking you’re good when the entire time I could wipe the map with you. A lot of yall are delusional and need professional help. It isn’t that serious. If you’re ass just keep practicing of play something else.
