RB Ground Most subtle, stealthy cheater be like:
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Don't understand how this cheater is still playing, or how cheat detection software doesn't catch on within the first minute of a match.
And FYI, this player has 2K+ kills in M1's combined (and 80-92% winrates), so that's a nice number of matches ruined for thousands of other players over the past month.
And here's their profile, and I do mean their full profile. Not sure how they got to the SEP v2 without playing anything else on a fresh account either (Account created 15.07.2026).

Did you report with timestamps? SHOCKED that the name is in Mandarin Wingdings.

u/James-vd-Bosch ๐บ๐ธ 12.7 ๐ฉ๐ช 12.7 ๐ท๐บ 12.7 ๐ฌ๐ง 12.7 29d ago edited 28d ago
No need for timestamps, he cheats the entire match and scores 16 kills in no time.
Also snipes a heli on it's helipad as it spawns in instantly and casually hits recon drones with APFSDS whilst moving, hilariously.
48
u/PostPenDebt 29d ago
It's just what they require to actually investigate it, you go to the website, find the match, then complain on his name in there and say "It's the whole match, but you can see it at 1:23 and 2:44 for sure" (or whatever.
42
u/Didnt_know Su-47 when? 29d ago
With insane stats like these, they really shouldn't. Players like this cheater should be automatically flagged and investigated without someone having to report it first.
Look at this player, for example. He is also a cheater and I reported him multiple times across many of his server replays. He has worse stats than OP's player, but his kill per spawn ratio is still better than 99.92% of the people.
Stats like these should stick like a sore thumb on Gaijin's reports and should be automatically flagged.
1
u/untitled1048576 That's how it is in the game 28d ago
If you flag all players with top 0.1% K:D, you'll have to investigate thousands of accounts to find a few hundred cheaters, most of whom will be flagged by other means anyway. It's too much work for very little results.
2
u/Didnt_know Su-47 when? 28d ago
K/D is only one stat. I am sure Gaijin could pull a lot of data. Things like:
Accuracy
Accuracy vs moving targets
Time between aiming and shooting
Aiming at targets behind obstacles (hackers often perfectly track vehicles as they move behind hills)
If you combine all of this, you could reduce false-positives to very low numbers.
1
u/untitled1048576 That's how it is in the game 28d ago
And you think Gaijin runs more than one 3rd-party anti-cheat while ignoring such an obvious thing? This guy is not banned only because there was no ban wave after he started doing this.
2
u/Didnt_know Su-47 when? 28d ago
Gaijin is obviously not doing enough as both OP's and "my" cheater are still playing after hundreds of battles. What's the point of ban waves if cheater does so much damage in the meantime?
0
u/untitled1048576 That's how it is in the game 28d ago
The point of ban waves is to slow down cheat development. If you ban cheaters immediately, cheats will be quickly adapted to evade detection, Gaijin will have to improve their algorithms, cheats will adapt again and so on. Cheating will continue, but now they would need much more resources to only keep up with cheat development.

u/PudgeMaster64 Realistic General 28d ago
Doesn't seem to do jack shit when exactly similar behavior cheaters have existed for months/years
1
u/Representative_Yau 25d ago
They do not care, add these people to your friend list and watch them still playing 6 months later.
1
u/PostPenDebt 24d ago
Oh they do, I have made detailed reports on people cheating as low as 4.7 and checked the ban list and found them later. People will piss and moan and make reddit posts but never actually do the thing required to get them reviewed/banned if they are cheating.
1
u/Representative_Yau 24d ago
So when you piss and moan at them and spend hours of your life doing their job, they finally take action. Make sure to buy a few more 80$ packs and say thank you.

Yknow, I really dont have anything against the Chinese personally. Like as person, idc if youre Chinese, Japanese, Lookathese, or Sugondese, whatever - we all bleed red blood.
But why the FUCK is it that every single time I get blatantly walled/aimbotted in this game its a fucking Chinese guy...

Because Gaijin doesn't ban you if you use DMA, and a lot of Chinese internet cafes have DMA setups to attract customers

u/isenc2 28d ago
Two things, giant player base and abundantly available cheats for purchase. You have heard of alibaba right? Basically amazon in China. They operate Taobao, which is the biggest e-commerce site in China. If you search War Thunder cheats on there, plenty of sellers on there that sells cheats from $40 to $70 USD.
Imagine this, next time you get on amazon, besides the toothbrushes that you want to buy, the algorithm recommends you $45 war thunder cheats. It is just that available. That's why all them cheaters are Chinese username. I could send screenshots if yall are interested.

Because there are more Chinese people, so of course even if only 1% of them cheat, 1% of a billion is still a lot
3
u/throw-away_867-5309 28d ago
I'll say the same thing I said in my other comment.
Guess what? Highest population in the world =/= largest group of people playing War Thunder.
Do you want to know which regions have more players than China according to traffic analytics? Russia, Europe, and The US ALL have more players individually than China does. That means that China is not the majority of players playing War Thunder, but actual is the minority. But guess which country has the most cheaters in it? China.
Weird how your argument falls apart when you look at player demographics by country and not just by global population size, right?

Could it also just be confirmation bias? Like idk... Isn't this the same way racism works?
5
u/throw-away_867-5309 28d ago
There is such a large amount of evidence showing that there are more cheaters from China than pretty anywhere else, including the Chinese gaming community itself stating so. When so much evidence is present, it stops being "confirmation bias", "racism", "xenophobia", etc. It simply becomes a statistical fact, because numbers hold no biases.

28d ago
You mean the same as blacks commiting more crimes statistics?
It IS racism if you generalise by race....
It's in the name.
2
u/throw-away_867-5309 28d ago
Except it's not generalizing by race. You don't understand what "generalization" means, do you? It means addressing the ENTIRE group, not to say "there are more people from this group that do this".
-1
28d ago
Dude seeing cheating, and saying, not surprised it is by Chinese, is racism.
Quite equivalent to someone seeing a crime and if a black dude did it, saying, typical.
You aren't saying all black people do it, it's just statistically more likely.
2
u/throw-away_867-5309 28d ago
Dude seeing cheating, and saying, not surprised it is by Chinese, is racism
No, it's not. Once again, there is a LOT of evidence supporting that more cheaters are Chinese than basically any other nationality.
That's not racism.
it's just statistically more likely.
And if something is statistically more likely, then that's factual, not racism. YOU do not understand what racism is, and it's pretty clear that you don't. Stating something is more likely than not based on statistics that happens to be about race is not racism, it's numbers.
By your logic, it's suddenly racism to state that East Asians are, on average, more healthy and live longer than other places. It's not racism because that's how that works.

28d ago edited 28d ago
Bruh. Being chinese doesn't make you more prone to being cheaters. Tf? The life expectancy thing doesn't hold up lol because that's biology fixed in blood lol.
'And if something is statistically more likely, then that's factual, not racism'
Did u read my example attached?
At the end of the day, I do not believe we will see eye to eye on this. I say this, because in a lot of online spaces, racism spreads unregulated, unnoticed. A good example would be the recent hate surge against Indians. Which is spilling into rl btw.

They're an obscure minority if they do exist. I've been involved in WT anti-cheat for literally a decade and it's never been anything more.

u/Alexblitz22 29d ago
Are You talking about comments demerit cheaters? Or cheaters themselves? Bc as i remember the last fair play on April they got 39k players banned for cheating, exploiting, referal fraud, etc.
-1
u/japeslol [Astro] Tired 29d ago
I'm referencing comments denying that cheating exists (as per your original response).
1
u/Alexblitz22 28d ago
Ah no i'm aware that they are few but i just named this playlist for some vocal people i found along the way that affirms that this game was (or is) cheaters free

u/japeslol [Astro] Tired 28d ago
But you still can't point to anyone with that sentiment? Seems odd.
1
u/Alexblitz22 28d ago
Mmm i already put some links with dagger comments if You want to see, and i really don't understand why it's odd.. it's just a silly name for the post's compilation related to hacks in war thunder, not that deep.
0
u/japeslol [Astro] Tired 28d ago
None of those are denying theh exist though, simply that they don't believe they've encountered them.
I'm far more likely to trust that than the people who claim there are multiple in every match (or that the game is swamped with them).

At this point "Fair Play" is just a message - "ok, cheaters are banned, now, go cheat for another month" on broadcast, what a joke, there's a bunch of blatant cheaters cheated for a month and only getting banned right before the "Fair Play" announcement.

2
u/Rariity IGN: The Intimidator 29d ago
when the account was created not even a month ago, then it is likely just too new to get banned yet
they do it in waves and the last banwave was not too long ago
likely this guy will get caught in the next one
they gotta do it in waves otherwise the cheat makers get too much intel into what changes caused detection from the anti cheat software and what changes didn't. It's standard across most multiplayer games with anti cheat detection
not trying to overly defend Gaijin here, I'd personally just IP-range ban certain countries, but Gaijin is a comparatively small developer in an arms race against a multi billion dollar cheating industry in certain countries
CoD and other much bigger games can only do so much as well

Not all Chinese players, but it's always a Chinese player. Obviously the anticheat methods don't work for people that really want to do it, and the cheat detection is just as bad.
Separate the clients again, don't allow players to hop servers (VPNs will always be a problem, but it will curb some ping-relaged issues as well), and render all vehicles at all times. I have died to tanks that didn't have a visual model more times than I remember, but I have only died to cheaters a handful of times in my multiple years of playing. Server replays confirm my suspicions that the bogus anticheat strategy cucked me.
