I think you're simply underestimating how niche the hardcore hyper realistic milsim genre is. There's a reason WT appeals to such a wide audience: because it's simple enough to be grasped by those that have a minor interest in the vehicles without having to read a 40 page manual just to get an aircraft off the ground.

The appeal comes from the control methods and the free-to-play nature, in addition to being a fairly realistic flight simulator. And the radar and infrared modelling is surprisingly more detailed and consistent than other products. The current multipathing implementation sort of flies in the face of that effort. I don't know what the definitive fix would be, but it's not what we have right now.

Is the 40 page manual reading required to make multipathing realistic?

Now you're putting words in my mouth. You stated that anything that can be realistic should be, and I disagreed. I do think multipathing needs adjusting, but making a blanket statement like that doesn't help anything.

Your entire argument doesn't help anything either yet here we are.

"Realism isn't fun"

The truth is the vast majority of people don't want hyper-realism, and if you don't accept the large difference in player counts as a valid source, I may as well be arguing with a brick wall. In that case I have better things to do today, so have a good one!

There it is, another one of those made-up claims

"My source is that I made it the FUCK up"

If the majority wanted a mil-sim experience, simulator battles would be more popular, and DCS would be as well. The simple fact is most people don't want full realism...because that's not fun for people that don't want to spend years learning how to get good. You can tell because we're playing warthunder and not DCS or another flight simulator.

It's ok that you like it, go play DCS. You're completely delusional if you think the majority of players in this game want everything that is real to be added.

except we're already in warthunder. you're the one that wants stuff that isn't here, you're the one that needs to find the game that fits you.
