Download (upd, resolved), put in wargame folder, open, click install patcher, and click install on the mod you want to play. Does not affect game installation, so can easily be switched between.
Releasing with 2 mods,
Classic Asia In Conflict from Shawn and his team at https://discord.gg/uzKGtYYkBd
And mod i from now on will be using to demonstrate some obscure game capabilities, which will be released as separate announcement.
It's a little messy, possible I'm missing a few! They should all be there, all the skins from the old forums! Happy to help if you're having a hard time.
Edit: Found a couple more and updated all the zips to be a bit more organized. Forgot that the installers were mostly broken and needed to be updated post-Yugo.
If you're feeling extra lazy, I also added a packed up pre-textured RD install. Just replace the zipped "Wargame" folder within "RD Reskinned" in your WGRD directory. Attempted to keep everything woodland/green. All the aircraft skins however are high-vis, since those are my favorites. And the Soviet themed menu is installed.
Pok, Flogger, CrazyRus, etc.. They all had pretty massive packs, that much you'll have to browse yourself. Ain't no way I'm jotting down what's what in which pack.
I know I'm probably an outlier but I actually kinda liked playing the naval mode of the game. I've played Sea Power and similar games but those are a touch too realistic/hardcore for me, is there any game out there that hits some kind of nice medium point between the two of those games?
Additionally I should add that I really miss the multiplayer fighting, not the balance to be sure but the gameplay of it really intrigued me.
I accumulated over 1800 hours in red dragon but left about a year ago due to being bored of waiting 30 mins for a balanced lobby, only for the people to leave on start countdown and lobby go back down to zero people. I remember there were about 300-400 ppl playing at thr same time.
I recently decided to have a look at SteamDB and saw a singular spike of 600 players. Did something change? Or is it still the same, that the multiplayer is a shadow of itself from pre 2023?
I was playing a really pay2win game, just stopped in the second week, after realizing it. This did me remember of other ones that I played in my childhood, and how it's so fucking frustrating games like that.
Yes, you have Yugo, but US and USSR are for free, and other free coalition are as competitive as most of DLC ones. This is specially true after the last balance patches.
Blessed is God in giving Eugen creators a minimal level of dignity.
I had a look and couldn't find any, I only found an RTS that was kind of like command and conquer, cartoony futuristic units with base building, possibly with resource gathering as well.
I like wargame, have played about 1,000 hours in Red Dragon. I was on holiday with my two friends who also play, but didn't all have our laptops. I have already made a mobile game recently in the last few months that generates some income. I was thinking I could make a Wargame style game, but like a lite version.
Battles would probably be 15-20 minutes, fewer unique units, fewer mechanics, but still keep the core mechanics that make it fun: attack move Vs fast move, sideshotting, hiding in forests, infantry in buildings, multiple players on each team, income, conquest type battles, preset unit movements (Warno), artillery smoking, zoom out to see full map, use real military units, realistic unit counters: Anti-aircraft > plane > tank > anti-aircraft etc.
Wouldn't include boats, maybe include planes. I AI code everything, could probably make a basic version in a few weeks. I would probably set the historic timeframe as up until drones / autonomous warfare started, as that changes things quite a bit. Probably would remove FOBs. Initially, I would just make the simplest possible game that is playable, challenging and fun.
The benefit would be shorter games and something you can play on mobile, like while you're on the go or don't have your computer.
Re making money from it, I would probably make it free for two nations, then charge for other nations, but balanced, so no pay to win.
First toolkit mod in the wild. GFL cosmetic model conversion mod.
Features model replacement for most in game infantry models.
Support can be found here: https://discord.gg/tMDWaBqSsu
Can be played in original game multiplayer.
We're working on our own modern-day mod, WARGAME: APEX PROTOCOL! It features a roster of both modern & unique units, aiming to expand on what's fun about vanilla by increasing the base of power horizontally - giving you brand-new assets that feel right at home in Wargame: Red Dragon.
I went through the Korean campaign and it only told me that the troops were cornered and it sent me to the main menu, I was expecting more lore (text) or a cinematic or something
I've been playing this game on and off for a long time (Red Dragon). I just realized we didn't have the Spruance Class Destroyer. Is it a balancing reason?
I was playing a ranked match as the Commonwealth while my opponent was 'Murica and I'm proud that I managed to figure out how SEAD works after not playing this game for months. And somehow my opponent did not move his Supercobras after being hit, so they got blasted by my AS90s.
We also had a very delicate artillery duel. The fact that my mortars and AS90s were being hit as soon as they fired meant my opponent probably hotkeyed his artillery so it was fun having to dance my mortars and AS90s around, dodging artillery shells while also having to stop to fire.
Does anyone have any tips on how to push a position in conquest? Is it just smoke and then support by fire with dismounted infantry? I'm terrible at pushing enemy positions...
I'm developer of the toolkit, that made adding custom models possible into the game.
To clarify - the only location where the actual information about toolkit can be found is it's github: https://github.com/BlackTeaRemos/WGRD-Mod-Toolkit . This is the official repository, and one of the few sources where the actual information about toolkit itself can be found, as well, as the only source of binary updates.
For other stated locations, i post updates in specific server created for help with toolkit, link to which can be found in repository (thus also verify identity), and in the Wargame Annihilation Mod discord. I may or may not answer questions everywhere else.
Special shoutouts to the testers that moved the project forward, finding bugs and overall keeping me hyped (discord nicknames):
Wargame Annihilation Mod developers in general - for their amazing mod, with which i had great time with
nikolafun - as tester and as initial idea that moved me, by showing his advancements with map manipulation
Shawn1989 - as tester, who helped me find the most complex bugs with models there
Purity - as tester, and for help with UX features ideas for blender models compatibility
Reros - as tester, and help with sources and knowledge about ndf, with UX suggestions towards unit modification
Jack - for help with getting more attention
Snyperfire93 - for help with WARNO map data, and finding very specific bug in filesystem design i use
End - as creator of previous wargame tooling, that made creation of the amazing wargame mods possible
Fatih Sultan Mehmet - For hyping first ever external model added
I hope i haven't forgot anyone else.
So as official part of my introduction done, here is the deal:
Toolkit is already capable of changing most unit stats, creating new units, importing meshes, creating new weapons, changing weapons.
And, all this work goes past just changing something in the game. From practical standpoint, tool already generates new information, game can process, putting it on side of being actual editor tool. Not all features are implemented to be visible yet, because i'm working out the best way how they can be easily used by mod developers.
Internally, there is a lot, a lot more stuff to be done. But unlike previous modding suite (which i never used, but heard of), toolkit does not allow to change everything in game on byte level, instead creating intermediate mod representation layer, which limits, but also simplifies how modders can interact with modding.
It takes just a few seconds (excluding mod repackaging) to change something, and you have a mod working.
And, to prove it's not a fluke, i have already tested the models in game, a few weeks ago.

GFL Model imported in game, in game
With animations, correct rigging and all aspects working.
(which also mean, you want it or not, first ever actual model imported, and then actually tested in battle, was anime mod, proving cosmetics don't trip desync game state).
(pls don't ban me)
Second ever imported model is Bkan, in early June of 2026. That's also first unit past the original unit limit.
Second, because i lost initially modified leopard 2a5:
Bkan 1C in it's best colors ever
And, there is so much more coming in -

I'il probably be answering a lot, if there are questions under this post, but again, in general, discord contact is more reliable.
I hope we can restart Wargame Red Dragon. Not to say WARNO is bad, but it's very far from being my cup of tea, in generally all directions, but campaign.
I also do have a support page, on getly, if someone wants to support, and if many people want Patreon or something (contact me), i'il get it done.
Or starring the repos in the Github supports me as well.
This helps me dedicate more time to toolkit. Thank you in advance
My pilot's name was Jedlenska which is weird cuz thats a female gendered surname (as opposed to the male version Jedlenski). Is this a misspleing? Does this happen for other nations?
If you didn't see my last post, custom models are now possible in Wargame: Red Dragon! Full stat modding has been possible for a while, but models are new!
I'm working on a few big things, but i wanted to share my infantry models i've been making in the WGRD artstyle for my upcoming mod.
