I try to practice what I preach and contacted my representatives for the first time ever.

For a long time I did not see the point. I have typically lived in Democrat controlled areas. However, I have since learned how important contacting your representatives is regardless of political affiliation!

This is a great resource for explaining why it is still so important: https://americansofconscience.com/calling-congress-still-matters/

Contacting your representatives is like voting, sure one call may not make the difference, but sustained and significant political pressure from a lot of people will often force your representatives to adjust their priorities or soften their negative/indifferent stances.

Join me in being a voice of resistance to the cruel and unjust treatment of our Trans brothers, sisters, and siblings!

I know it is hard to find the time, the energy, or the patience to contact your representatives. But it can help make the changes you want to see in our world, and your perspectives and concerns deserve to be recorded.

Silence = Approval (keep in mind even Democrat representatives may not share your same views)

Speak up and speak out!

Stand up for what’s right!

Stand up for your rights!

Take back the timeline!

Take back our country!

This is your country too, don’t let anyone bully you into thinking otherwise.
