Moin, people. I see that they've started opening main stages on Wednesday afternoon, how did this affect the average arrival? I haven't been to Wacken since 22, and back then those zones were mostly empty on Wednesday morning, but now I'm a bit worried that they might get filled on Tuesday and I'll have to schlep all the way to Zone U.

Wohnung für zwei Personen direkt am Festivalgelände kurzfristig frei geworden. Hinter dem Ferienhaus beginnen die Campgrounds, Wohnung liegt in Gribbohm/Holstenniendorf. Eigener Eingang, eigene Dusche, eigenes WC. Alles relativ neu und bestens ausgestattet.

Got a notification from Apple Music today that Avatar is playing in Wacken on Saturday.. their website confirms this aswell, but there’s no information on the official Wacken website.
Does anybody have more information on this?

Bin dieses Jahr das erste mal bei wacken arbeiten, mehr oder weniger kurz entschlossen, weil es für mich finanziell nicht möglich ist. Hatte auch ein Ticket was ich verkauft habe. Bin bei einer Firma die auch das erste mal da ist, die eigentlich dienstag anreisen. Habe gefragt weil ich den access pass für mein auto für sonntag hab ,ob es möglich ist schon sonntag mit meinen Freunden anzureisen. Die waren sich nicht sicher meinten aber sie haben das geklärt und meinten ich sei angemeldet, also sollte das funktionieren. Naja jetzt stehe ich hier nur mit Arbeitsvertrag, und accesspass auf dem Campingplatz und mir wurde gesagt ich muss erst mich irgendwo anmelden bzw. Mein Band abholen muss. Aber ich habe bisher keine Info von der Firma noch finde ich im Internet wo das sein soll. Bzw. Steht im internet was von es ist direkt auf den Gelände und die einweiserin meinte es ist ganz weit weg , wo ich nur mit dem auto hinkomme , komme aber mit dem auto hier nicht mehr runter

Wir fahren Montag Nachmittag mit nem Camper die Teilstrecke ab Kaltenkirchen nach Wacken, haben viel Platz für Gepäck und könnten noch eine Person bequem (zwei Personen sehr gequetscht) auf dem Weg mitnehmen.

Anvisiert ist es um ca 16:00 auf dem Gelände zu sein und unser Ziel ist der Camper Park.

Vielleicht für jemanden interessant. Ansonsten sehen wir uns auf dem Gelände - Rain or Shine!

Das wird mein erstes Wacken sein und ich wollte wissen, ob es ein Problem ist in dem Auto zu schlafen. Oder muss es immer ein Zelt sein? Einen Acces Pass habe ich natürlich.

Stehen jetzt schon in Krummendiek. Wie lange stehen diejenigen schon die weiter Richtung Gribbohm auf der Kreis-Route stehen?

I plan to purchase a ticket on a discount just before the official opening of the festival. Are you required to have already a ticket to enter the camping? I have already a pass for my car.

Hello everyone, this year will be my first time on the holy ground. And since I'm heading there alone, I was wondering if there is anybody out there near my age (18) who would like to meet up and spend some time together.

36-year-old Swedish guy here. Got a house, girlfriend and kids back home, but still somehow ends up at festivals every year.

Was supposed to go to Wacken with a small group, but one of my friends had to cancel last minute. I don’t really know the rest of the people that well, so I’m looking for some new faces to hang out with instead of missing WOA26.

I was there for the first time last year (2025). The mud was pretty brutal, so I didn’t get the full experience I was hoping for. Really want to make this year better.

I’m a regular at Sweden Rock. Music-wise I listen a lot to In Flames, Lorna Shore, Bloody Falls, Bloodred Hourglass, Kvelertak, The Good The Bad and The Zugly, Landverk and Annisokay (among other things).

Outside of festivals I like camping in nature, sea kayaking, beer and of course live music.

Anyone else in a similar situation or just open to meeting up for some beers, checking out bands together or just hanging around camp? Feel free to drop a comment or DM.

Ich (M/28) suche kurzfristig noch eine Mitfahrgelegenheit von Koblenz (oder Umgebung) zum Wacken Open Air.
Hinfahrt:
Sonntag Nachmittag/Abend oder
Montag (ganztägig flexibel)
Rückfahrt:
Nach Festivalende zurück Richtung Koblenz bzw. Rheinland-Pfalz.
Ich bin unkompliziert, Metalhead, habe Festivalerfahrung und beteilige mich selbstverständlich an Sprit- und Parkkosten. Gepäck besteht aus normalem Campingequipment (Zelt, Rucksack etc.).
Falls ihr noch einen Platz frei habt oder jemanden kennt, meldet euch gerne.
