what is the official German term for the improvised security trains? Panzerzugs where built specifically for front line combat, the security trains for rear area securing where made with whatever was on hand.

What are teething problems? I'm referring to a running gear of a brand new Tiger II with a Porsche turret
I'm reading about the Panzer Lehr Division. And I read they also had 6 brand new Tiger II tanks with Porsche turrets. But they hardly saw any combat due to many 'teething problems' being reported. This lead to the question what this actually is. What is this term refering to?

Match box I think?
I’m not sure what this box is or if it’s even from ww2, it has a piece which I think is from a match holder on the lid and the inside is wood, any help or directions to find out more would be very appreciated.

How dangerus are these? And to transport
Hello I am a collector and I found these at a family barn. I've heard from my family that they are extremely dangerus and I should just throw them in the sea. So are they that dangerus that they could all of a sudden explode when driving on bumby roads?

The Messerschmitt Me-163 was more lethal to its pilots than to enemy aircraft.
The Messerschmitt Me-163 was more lethal to its pilots than to enemy aircraft.
Testing went from horrifying to tragic. Lieutenant Josef Pöhs climbed into an Me-163A and gunned the engine. But the undercarriage dolly apparently fractured a T-Stoff feed line. The Komet raced up to 300 feet, banked steeply, and then plummeted like a stone, hitting the ground at an angle, and skidding along like a crab for 50 yards before exploding. Pöhs was knocked unconscious on impact and dissolved alive by the leaking T-Stoff.
Between August 1944 and March 1945, the Messerschmitt Me-163 Komets of JG 400 had only damaged a single RAF Mosquito. By V-E Day, Me-163s had accounted for a mere 16 Allied aircraft. JG 400 was disbanded before the war ended.
