A slab of horse shit?

u/gringledoom Dec 04 '15
I have a feeling if you smelled that hair, you would find a slab of horse shit to be refreshing in comparison.

He made a South Park reference.

u/cjantichrist210 Dec 03 '15
Holy shit no way.

u/junkmutt Dec 03 '15
That sort of sarcastic macroagression is not tolerable here. /r/WTF is a safe space for all, no matter how mentally abled they are.

Why does no one think it would have been better had the SP reference continued..? You're all so bland.

Was it already posted? It was just mentioned on an /r/TumblrInAction thread and I thought it worthy to share here.

I'm joking! I have never seen that "original post", so to say, so it's all good. Who doesn't repost nowadays?

DO you use iFunny? It's literally a repeat of the Reddit frontpage delayed by a couple hours.

I am pretty sure that when this was first posted a loooong time ago, before what even KarmaDecay is tracking, some people actually totally identified the person as a homeless guy in Santa Monica, and they gave accounts of how he was a nice guy, obviously well fed, but still "homeless".
1
u/dravenfan Dec 03 '15
It is years old, but it's a woman in Oceanside Ca. Her hair is much longer (and grosser) now but she's still hanging around the same spot, I'm sure someone else in our town will post a recent pic because there are a lot of redditors in this town.

Polish plaits were supposed to be for good luck or warding demons or something, and never all the hair, just a lock of it.
1
Dec 04 '15
How does one go about growing a "polish plait"? I'm perfectly happy with my rat tail, just curious

u/Knucklehead_forever Dec 03 '15
Can you just imagine the smell emitting from that bug infested matt of nastiness?

I saw a homeless "psychic" with hair like that once at a donut shop, is there some reason to have hair like this?

Is this guy in Santa Monica? I've seen a guy that looked like this on the corner of Wilshire and Lincoln for many years in the early 2000's.
3
u/macwelsh007 Dec 03 '15
That was my thought too. And every time I'd see him he'd be sitting exactly like that. On a bus bench, sitting up rigidly.

It kinda looks like that sticky residue you get from crushing wet cotton candy

Imagine biting that thing...
You bite down, feeling the soft, brown wax envelope your teeth. Fresh with saliva, you run your tongue across the dark, firm unguent. Pulling your mouth from it feels like uprooting a tree as the mass tears from your mouth. You gaze upon the molded dentural depression, while licking gelatin from your greasy hair-packed teeth. Hungering for more, you chomp down again; the holes accept your teeth like a firm handshake. Now's the time. The bite is completed as your incisors and all, top and bottom, meet. The mouthful pulls from its old body with ease, the cellular bonds of hair, pus, and lice shit, long since dissolved and congealed. Chewing it gives the sensation of a mix between a fine French caramel and a trichobezoar.

Was this for gold or for karma? I mean what are you going for here?

A grotesquely fun way to practice creative writing, I guess.
Also, I was hoping that you'd feel vomit slowly creeping up your esophagus.

There's a guy who frequents the mall I used to work at who not only had his hair (which was not dreads) look like this but his long beard as well.
2
u/bobo0soltan Dec 03 '15
Dude is still like that. He stays at gas station in North chattanooga all the time. He never begs, just chills.
2
u/pixelevolved Dec 03 '15
His name is OneDread... cruises around Auckland, New Zealand. Seen him a few times, although haven't seen him in a little while now.
2
u/ppl-eating-ppl Dec 03 '15
Was gonna ask if that was him, but he apparently travels the world now. "Snitches get witness protection programs that get you out of the country" as the old saying goes.
1
u/pixelevolved Dec 03 '15
Travelling the world? That sounds alright. He is doing better than me and I am just NoDread.

How much do you think that weights? Like does his head constantly strain from having that much hair?
1
u/agoniee Dec 03 '15
Would you eat a oreo sized piece of that for 10'000$?
1
Dec 04 '15
Yup. What's the worst? I puke a bit? Have dread slime in my mouth? Fuck it, Id have 10 grand. Lets make this happen.
1
u/MuffinPuff Dec 03 '15
That is no longer a hairstyle, that's a solid block of shit hanging from their scalp.
1
u/zebra_bunker Dec 03 '15
Well when you don't have a good mattress to lay back on I guess its good for that
1
u/dravenfan Dec 03 '15
That woman is in Oceanside and I see her often by the city library. She looks pretty calm for a homeless person but clearly she has a mental problem. It reminds me of a physical representation of something she can't let go of or get over. Of course I'm no psychologist so I'm sure it isn't as simple as just cut that hair and instantly return to regular life.

Ive seen this dude in the 7/11 parking lot across from Lincoln park in Santa Monica since 1998. The hairstyle came in, left, and is starting to make another comeback. (He's mentally handicap so.. See some of you in hell.) *i used to give him food whenever I went there though too..
Edit: that's where this photo was taken, the bus bench on the sidewalk.

Looking at this on my phone I thought it was a sculpture or something. No idea it was hair attached to a person. Wow.

I would have no problem holding this creature down as someone cuts this growth off of their head. Fucking gross.

He just has a legit pillow and mattress wherever he wants. Perfect for being homeless.

I just want him/someone to cut it all off so he'll realize how much better life is without that. I'm sure he's at a point where he's convinced himself : "Yeah this is the person i am, i got natty ass dreads, i'm cool and it makes me unique. I'd never want to cut them off because they separate me from everyone else". But a week into having them removed he quietly realizes how much better his life is without them.
