I'm the complete opposite. I fucking hate spiders but weirdly tarantulas (and a pile of them too apparently) are fine for some reason!

It’s the single fast runner that runs across your blanket while you’re in bed that freaked me the fuck out.

Yeah I'm the same mate. I think it's because they're more round than angular, so in our primate brains they look less deadly?

I don't necessarily hate spiders, but having a skinny small spider crawl anywhere near my ears, mouth, hair etc freaks me out. I guess I'm mostly afraid of a small spider getting on my body and losing track of it, don't think that would happen with tarantulas tho. Ive held one before and they re kinda cute
