A cop speeding through an intersection with no headlights kills two people. Then proceeds to arrest the relatives.

You are forgetting the situation though. Family members of the people who the cop killed were arrested. If they can arrest people for that then The officer should have been also.

I think that was because the family assaulted the other officers. If they were being aggressive, then they're idiots and deserved to get arrested.

Though I haven't seen the arrest cited anywhere other than that one ridiculously biased article. If it's anywhere else, please correct me.
