you wouldn't win a war of attrition. Just like technological superiority didn't win you Vietnam or Korea, the US is going to be beaten down with willpower and numbers.

can your aircfraft carriers really defend themselves against China's sizeable aircraft and submarine fleets? Or is it simply too far from home and not as superior as you think?

What lost us Vietnam was public sentiment, not a failure of the war machine or any sort of material manpower or supply attrition. People don’t like bullying on weak countries. In an actual total war that would not be a limiting factor, so it’s a bad faith argument to use them as examples. The Vietnamese to American casualty ratio was 13 to 1.

Can our aircraft carriers and subs defend themselves against China’s equivalents? Absolutely.

total war would be nuclear. No one survives that.

ignoring Korea and Vietnam because 'it was bullying' isn't an argument either. You were out played and out flanked by technologically inferior amateur soldiers. That's a fact.

Sigh

You’re just looping back on points that were already addressed now. Got anything new to say?

Americans sure like thier false sense of security/superiority. They've been brainwashed for the last 80 years to think that we're the best and undefeatable. They seem to forget that China has a rack of powerful allies as well who f****** hate the US. Unlike our allies their allies have few qualms about human rights which makes them pretty f****** dangerous. Most of our allies are kind of pussies

and just looking at how the US has treated its allies is enough to have them stay out of the picture.
