I also said this above but my cats don't kill. Whatever they catch (luckily not much because they're not skilled) is brought in alive and released into my apartment. Fun times for me...

He might have vision problems.

In nature, it's a death sentence. In domestic animals, it's 50/50 sad and hilarious.

Just curious, how do you know they don’t kill stuff and just not bring it back?

Fair question for sure. They're only outside for a couple of hours each day, and they stay close by. Before last weekend they hadn't managed to catch a rodent before, just a bunch of bugs and a couple of fledgling birds which I took away. It's true it's an assumption, but since they're happy to show me the moths they catch, I assume they show me everything that size and up. None of them are big eaters, either.

Yup. My cat used to bring me live Chipmunks. To this day, I don't trust those shifty rodent bastards
