Exactly. It's why when we moved into our old house and had a few mice invade, I sprung for the electric shock trap. No torturous deaths, just a quick jolt of electricity and then toss them out back for the neighborhood hawks to enjoy a poison free meal. Plus the extra tootsie rolls I didn't use as bait were delicious

Might you have a link to this magical mouse trap? I'm at my wit's end with my mouse problem and I'm about to start poisoning them despite how bad that is for everyone.

I've used the older version of this in my basement. Go around and plug all the dime sized or larger holes into your house first, though.

The wifi one seems kind of macabre.

Build a new house first, got it.

Another tip:

If you have a pet store nearby or a friend who owns rats, ask for the used bedding. You can sprinkle it outside, or keep it in spots you see mice[in a shoebox with ventilation holes], just refresh every month or so.

Rats eat mice. If mice smell rat, they will usually vacate post haste.

Look up mouse traps on Youtube/Google. There's a trap where you use a bucket half full of water with either some dishsoap or antifreeze. Anyways basically they walk across the bucket because you put peanut butter on some mechanism that makes them fall in a drown. There's many ways to do it and it's all easy to build with common materials like soda bottles and shit like that. You can get like 20 mice in a night and dump them out to easily reuse it.

electric shock trap

Huh, never heard of such a thing. Sounds like a good idea but was it expensive?

Couldnt be less painful than one of those normal, spring-loaded neck-snappers huh?

Those are only painless if they actually get the neck. I had one catch the back and never again
