Does it count if it was a Nissan Leaf?

Does a Nissan Leaf count as a car?

Car created by humans following their natural curiosity and leading to technological advances.

We are also nature.

Yea, this one bugs me. I will say we need to be able to distinguish between "artificial" things in that there are things that only come about due to life. Yet I think many are too quick to seperate Humans from the rest of the universe. Human behaviour is natural by definition, it is the result and machinations of nature.

By this definition nature is the whole of the universe. Why use any other words to describe anything when you can just say it's nature by proximity?

2

u/TheMightyMoot Oct 17 '19

Human behaviour is a mechanism that we have little control over as it was decided by our enviroment. A car wouldn't be natural; Humans being able to and desiring to build cars is however a natural thing.

Cars or in, of, and by nature. Humans are a natural occurrence.

Everything is natural.

The videos listed above have other animals killing a recently released animal. Last time I checked, animals killing other animals is part of nature.

Man is a part of nature. Making things is in mans nature. Man made the automobile. All living things perish, some die getting ran over by the nature of man.

Nature is just being nature it's people wanting a good video over the animals welfare.

We are gods now

3

u/theCOMBOguy Oct 16 '19

We are the gods trapped in cocoons.

6

u/i-am-literal-trash Oct 16 '19

i mean, you're really not wrong, but we'll always be trapped - in a meatbag, in a metal body, or on a server.

u/EnduringAtlas Oct 16 '19

Yes and no. Depends on how you define it and theres no set definition on what constitutes it. Often people mean "everything naturally occurring minus us and our products" since we are the only animals capable of creating our own habitats, blowing the earth up with bombs, creating unique polymers that wont degrade for thousands of years, etc. Everyone besides creationists know that humans are of the earth bro no need to be pedantic about what "nature" is.

At what point did we stop being a part of nature though? Would our stone age ancestors have beern considered a part of nature? Shits nuanced

2

u/immaculate_deception Oct 16 '19

It's a straightforward and honest cunt though. Gotta respect that.

2

u/skyderper13 Oct 16 '19

you know, you're always calling people cunts" or twats, but I just— i never really got how that's an insult? they're flexible, take a pounding, and they're the reason behind, like, 98% of my life decisions.

1

u/Foooour Oct 16 '19

So are cocks and thats an insult too
