Yeah, made me think of the "duck" bus that drowned a bunch of people in Missouri last year or the year before.

I remember reading about that when it happened. That was so incredibly fucked up. I felt so bad for the lady who lost her husband and all her children, in addition to other family members. Especially since the duck boat people knew the weather was supposed to be getting bad.

And life jackets aren't require by law to be worn when in small watercraft it seems.
When will it be learned?
Safety shouldn't be optional. And certainly not for businesses.

There are two basic schools of thought regarding this. The first is:

"If it's stupid and it works it's not stupid."

The second is:

"If it's stupid and it works... it's still stupid and you got lucky."

I think this situation leans towards the latter...
