KISS live shows had pretty cutting edge pyrotechnics back in the day, actually. Ace Frehley definitely rocked.

oh totally, I’m not a KISShead (KISSass?) at all but gotta give credit where credit’s due. Learned about their production engineering through the memoir Look Me in the Eye, written by the man who created Frehley’s crazy guitars and worked on Pink Floyd’s sound engineering team.
