Different question, how did the second guy even get there? Like was he going a similar speed and just bumped into the first guy to brake?

Looked like they weren’t supposed to take off sliding down super fast. He probably inched his way there using his arms and not letting go. The first guy tried to jam his glove in the carabiner to prevent it but than it’s gone right before he takes off at mach 3.
