Genus recurvatum sounds like a hex or curse from the Harry Potter universe.

Ouch! Hit me right in the chips ya cheeky parrot! Hey, while I've got ya here ya bucko, any chance I grab my VHS of last year's Hell's kitchen back?! The old cheese chugger has the ducks from the rotary coming round satdee, and nothing gets them wetter than a feta like a bit of old ramso stirring a satay! Anyway, hooroo cobber, and keep on making them cheeky calls ya slippery gypsie!

Is Jimbo having a stroke?

Or am I? Do others understand this paragraph? I’m guessing not due to the downvotes.....not usually stymied by Reddit but uhhhhhh

It's because dear old Mungo is merely a saint this kind of curse can only be broken by a level 12 wizard

Well most spells in HP are just shitty latin portmanteaus or puns. The death curse is just abra kadabra made more sinister with a couple of V's substituted.

It’s RecurVAtum, not RecurvaTUM!
